Well, I've decided to go with a 13" Refurbed Macbook, and now need a case or sleeve. I'm looking for something very small, so a sleeve would probalby be my best bet, since I'm hoping to continue using my normal bacpack for walks to and from class. I want something where the macbook is enclosed completely. I've seen a couple where I can use the macbook in the sleeve, but I hate the look of those. I've found some for around 30-40 which isn't a ton for a good case, but the cheaper the better, while keeping some quality. Also, do any of you have reccomendations based on personal experience?

I'm posting this in both the request a deal and the PC forum as to get opinions from people who might not frequent one set of boards. If a mod has a problem with this, feel free to delete it

I'm using a WaterField sleeve for my Macbook. It is quality product and protects the laptop nicely. The down side for it is that since the material is quality dense cushion, it does add about half a pound to the overall weight. http://www.sfbags.com/products/sleevecases/sleevecases.htm

Is the strap strong enough to keep it from falling out?

The default strap uses velcro to close the gap, it is strong and the laptop does not fall out unless you open the velcro. If you're talking about the shoulder strap, then I don't know, I didn't order that on my sleeve.
