I bought a second Mario Party Advance so I could link up with my son to play it. Nintendo won't let me register more than one copy of the same game, so if someone wants to register a game, here's the code: jww-bt3u-jwdq-rmg
I know it doesn;t do much right now, but you never know in the future. Just post here if you used it so no one else tries.
Off topic, but is Mario Party Advance any good?

I like it, but it's not like a regular Mario Party game. That disappointed me at first, because I really wanted to play a true Mario Party game on the go and just link up so that everyone could see the board. Instead, Mario Party Advance in multi-player mode is just a bunch of mini-games. The focus of the game is on the one-player mode. It is really quite clever, but not really like Mario Party. You go on "missions" which earn you bonuses and gadgets and unlocks the mini-games. Take it as a mini-game game with quests and missions and you'll have fun. The only other semi-annoying thing is that the difficulty of the mini-games and missions seems un-even. Some are incredibly easy and other seem almost too hard. Like I said, it's fun but just don't expect a traditional Mario Party game.
Is it good for traveling??

I really enjoyed Mario Party Advance as a single player game. It was sort of like an adventure game. The mechanics of it are really different from the "big" versions, which I think is why it got bad reviews (IMO it wasn't judged on it's own merits).
As a single player game it's probably much better.

Yes, it is good as a single-player game, and I think it would hold your interest for traveling. There are numerous quests, and 4 different character starting points so each one feels a little different also.
