I dunno, I really didnt plan on not watching Seinfeld anymore, but ever since his little tirade, I just havent watched it.
I think something about it has lost its charm because of the incident. Maybe its just me, but the lovable goofball turning into a racist kind of sours a main part of the show.

I've always liked comedy in my sitcoms, so I never watched it.

I don't think one has anything to do with the other. If I didn't watch TV or movies or listen to music based on the fact that the actor/artist is a complete douche I wouldn't own a TV or any CDs. Pearl Jam is my favorite band but I want to punch Eddie Vedder in the face every time he opens his mouth and isn't singing. I do know people who boycott entertainment based on the real life actions of whoever is providing it but not me I guess. Seinfeld is a funny show so I'll continue to watch it if it's on... in my world Michael Richards doesn't even exist - all I see is Kramer.

I think more people are watching Seinfeld because of his racist remarks. The last season of Seinfeld which came out a little after all the stuff happened at the comedy club sold 3 times as much as the previous season. Publicity stunt? Maybe. I hope that's not the case though, otherwise millions of copies of Son in Law and In the Army Now will be sold because of what happened to Pauley Shore.

Yes, I still watch it, and I've never been reminded of the racism incident while watching it. I don't even think about it.

The whole thing is like that one VH-1 Storytellers where Neal Diamond said he killed a drifter to get an erection. I respected him up to that point, but now I can only respect his back-catalog up until that record came out.

Aside from punching Eddie Vedder, this pretty much sums up how I feel on the matter.

 :applause: That perfectly sums up my thoughts on the show.
Still watch it. The only person I have ever stopped watching their stuff because the person was a jackass was Tom Cruise. I watched the previous Mission Impossibles, but could not get myself to watch the third. Everything he said in the past 5 or so years has been retarted bullshit. Kramer pulled one thing with the tirade, so I am not effected.
One fuck up > Multiple fuckups
Perhaps if he goes ballistic over multiple different things than just this one inccident, but as it stands I don't give a shit.
Most celebrities piss me off with some of the stuff that they do, but I try to let it go so I can enjoy things a little. It's kinda like working with a friend. You may like the person as a friend but hate them as a coworker. Gotta try and not let one thought carry over to the other.

Stupid question.
If someone on here said a comment you did not agree with, would you never read their topics again?

I just don't care if he's a racist because the show ended ten years ago.
If the show was on now and he tried this shit I might have stopped watching out of disgust, but it's old TV so who cares?

I actually laughed at all the shit he screamed at those guys. A little racial bigotry never hurt anyone. Well, except for all those black people, and the Jews...........but otherwise, meh.......

I discovered something when I was six. I was born with the ability to distinguish between a person in real life and a character on television.

Never saw it or the skit in question. It was funny that sales tripled after the incident though
