Rocky's at a really good price. But I think that they've discounted these to move the old sets. While the movies out in theaters. then when the new Rocky Balboa comes out on dvd they'll have a new set with tons of bonus features. At least thats what I'm hoping for.

This Rocky isn't an old set, they re-released it with the the new slim line cases.

I give it another year or two before we see a newer set with the new movies.

Which quite frankly pisses me off since they have released (and then re-released) these same five over and over and over. Yeah I love the Rocky movies as well as the next person but damn it they just need to come up with the ultimate edition and stick with it.

If you've only seen Dead Like Me on Sci Fi, I highly reccomend these sets. There is quite a bit of swearing, but it really adds to George's personality.

OP - Good find. I just wish there were more shows available. The wifey finally gave the thumbs up on purchasing TV shows and nothing really interests her. :( I've considered buying the Dark Shadows series for my mother though. She's really into that stuff...

well its not like the last 5 movies were grounded in reality. tho if i remember correctly, rocky 1 was based on some italian boxer going the distance against muhammed ali. I forget his name tho.

That is a very good deal on Rocky. But I fear as well that a year or two later that it'll be re-released with Rocky Balboa in another box set. Which will suck. Hell, it prob be cheaper to just buy this set, and buy Rocky Balboa when it comes out instead of paying for the new box set when it comes out.
