I was expecting at most $30, but it turned better than I thought.

I have one of those for Guilty Gear Isuka. Maybe I should throw it up on ebay.

I sold a FFXI strategy guide on eBay a few weeks ago, and it went for over $100 after shipping. Surprised the hell out of me.

I'm an off and on writer for www.ClubSkill.com, a UK site, and I currently pushed from writing reviews to doing full on features. The site is currently going under major changes so in the past few months I haven't been doing really much with it.

For some reason I didn't expect these to be worth anything. Recently sold a stella deus review copy to someone for $10.

Must've been a n00b since any FFXI vet considers that guide to be absolute crap.

I may be wrong, but it might've been since it was an Atlus title.

Nah, I had picked it up a year earlier at BooksAMillions for $15. Apparantly now, FFXI guides are rare, but the most the other ones went for were like, $50. I even set a $50 Buy-It-Now.

I would think review copies do pretty well on ebay as they are rare in the sense that it's more scarce than the retail version. The letter of course helped and it being an atlus game.

I once saw a Mark of Kri review copy. Besides the copy of the game it also had a bonus disc which contained art and screenshots which I thought would be pretty cool to have but ended not buying since I didn't think it was worth paying an extra $20-$30 just for it.
