I recently joined a trading site called Playerchain and got my $20 in gamebucks with my free trial. And today I got $25 for a used copy of Shadows of Destiny for PS2.

There is a copy of Marvel Ultimate Alliance for Xbox 360 for $40 so I might pick that up so I will get Marvel Ultimate Alliance for a used copy of a game I havent played in 4 years and goes for about $5 on pricegrabber, $2.50 in shipping my old game out, and the $2.50 trade fee. So I got Marvel Ultimate Alliance for Xbox 360 for about 10 bucks. Can't beat that!

And I will still have 5 more dollars in gamebucks left over!

Join for free and see if there is anything you are looking for. The more people who join the better the selection will get to be.

how did you request your game? i tried requesting and it said (in red) You do not have enough available credits or your membership has expired. You must update your membership (http://www.playerchain.com/membership) before you can request items.

...i have teh 20 game bucks...the game is $20...what gives? i clicked the update your membership link and it is wanting real money. did you have to give up some of your own cash to join this site?

I think the fee is like 2.50 and if you update your membership thing there you should be able to do the pay as you go option.

When I went there I looked at it and figured I would be trading out about 10 games within the next year at least so I got the full year membership which gives you unlimited trades for one year at about $25 I think. I used my credit card but my credit card company has something called Shopsafe and I use it to generate a credit card number that is tied to my credit card account but is only good for an amount I set and has a limited time that I can set so when I buy anthing online I use it and in this case made a card number which was only good for 30 dollars and only good for 2 months.

You should be able to "update your membership" by only giving them the $2.50 fee so you would get a $20 game for only $2.50.

I started to do that but when I started browsing I saw that I was going to be getting alot more games so I went with the year membership to save money in the long run.

so i bought 2 transactions for $5 via cc. the transactions haven't showed up in my account on this site. how long does it take until i can buy something from the time i bought the transactions? seems like it should be an instant update. is there a lag?

Yeah that is interesting, because I had a lag too and I sent them an email the same day asking about that and they said it should have gone in but they had updated my account after receiving my email. I thought it was just me.

I guess they may have a day or two lag built into their system somehow. I bet if you send them an email during standard business hours it will go through that day for certain.

Just posting to say how much of a positive experience I have had with this company. Everything is really easy, and there are a bunch of great deals there. I would recommend that you all go down there, and buy a bunch of games.
