From the show we've seen 3/4 generations of male smurfs...
Grandpappy, Papa, all the other smurfs, and the Smurflings.

There are only 1/2 generations of female smurfs...
Smurfette and a female smurfling...

From the early parts of the cartoon, we saw that there were no female smurfs before Gargamel created the evil smurfette to try and capture the smurfs...

If there were no other female smurfs prior to that, then the smurfs must necessarily reproduce asexually.
