Hey, I'm wanting to start a music blog, but I don't exactly know where to begin. Getting a site, getting the code up, finding other people to perhaps add things when I'm busy, can't think of anything, or just plain forget.

Plus I don't know the legalities of posting MP3's of music, I know a lot of blogs do this and do not get in trouble, or at most are just warned to take it down. And I need to know what is up with all that noise.

So could I get some help on this front? Keep in mind, I only have a basic understanding of HTML, as in just text, and pictures.

Wordpress is a pretty popular blogging software. I use it on Sega Nerds, and for the most part, I love it.

Blogger is a pretty great service if you don't want to host your own website. It looks very clean and it's pretty easy to use.

Blogspot is also good, it is run by Google and works very nicely. It also has a very nice lay out.

I also recommend Wordpress. If you have your own hosting you can use their tools to create your own blog. Making your own layout is pretty fun.
