Edge (EBgames) and More (GameStop) are the two cards you get from those stores for paying the yearly $15 fee (also get a Game Informer subscription)... I guess you could refer to them as a membership cards, but I've never heard them called that before :)

My Gamestop doesn't normally stack the edge card, the coupons even state that you can't use this with any other promotion. They consider the Edge card a promotion. Normally the EB guys don't care though... Maybe that's where I'll go.

not only that you get to check the disk if it's a used on in store. I always check the discs before buying at eb/gs now. Not all discs will come near mint from gamefly I ordered 3 games from them in the past. Some came mint other's came badly scratched. So no gurantees there!

Before I get flamed, TRU had 6 copies of Baten Kaitos sitting there for over a month, so I picked them all up with the $5 coupon, getting them for $0.20 each. I bought GOW for $40 and debate on trading it in. I have never really played it. But I figure I can rebuy it down the road for less then $40. I got a backlog of 360 games, including a unopened R6V. Just got back from GS. First, they wouldn't adjust Project 8 I bought 2 days ago. Then they flat out refused to stack my More card, even after arguing with them for several minutes. Those guys were always pricks, and I usually go to the EB that's run by females (who have much better customer service skills), but they didn't have Condemned, the game I was really after.

The guy there, who I have met before on other trips to this location, asked if I wanted to get anything else because the coupon was good for up to 5 games, and stacked with my edge card. You can get a laser for easily less than $100, sometimes much less. You could also pick up an old workhorse HP like the 4L for next to nothing. There's really little reason to be using an inkjet for day to day B&W printing.

The prices are 99.9% of the time the same on used items... most of the time, the incorrect prices you see in stores are just labels that haven't been updated yet. Bring it up to the register, and you'll almost certainly get it for whatever the online price is...

They're not doing anything. That's how the POS system does it all by itself. They scan the edge card, scan the product, enter the coupon code, hit total. It's not like the system requires them to perform complex voodoo math to calculate a discount manually.

If they have a "corporate policy" counter to how their register functions you can hardly blame the employees.

I see a pretty dang good selection during the B2G1 free sales.

This week, I even found one with almost every Wii game available used, but too bad another B2G1 free won't be for a while anyways probably.

Using this one coupon is kind of tough since I bought so much with the last couple sales. But I did get Battle for Middle Earth since I have bought it twice as filler and used it to exchange for another 360 game during the sales. I figured I might as well finally buy it at $24.99 - 35%

You guys do know about the store locator on the website right? If you go to the used game you want you can see if a store near you has it. It has worked pretty accurately for me so far.

I got Dead Rising for $32 and Condemned for $16.

I only find it accurate when it's 0 or high. It seems like 1-3 might as well be 0 since it only updates once a day anyway. It's a crapshoot at that point.

did anyone else notice that all the prices were raised $5 on most used 360 games? I was going to pick up NCAA 07 used, I know it was $29.99 last week, now it's $34.99. Quake 4 was $19.99, now it's $24.99.

it's a cool deal, but very lame of EB/Gamestop to change all the prices at the begining of the ad.

Picked up NBA 2k7 for $22 and Kameo for $13.
What a great deals. Can't wait for another deal like this later in the year when newer and better games get released.

Thats the worst trade ever! Gears is easily still worth retail and some. Plus two new maps tonight should boost Gears value even more. I will never trade Gears unless I get back ~ $70 to cover taxes and travel time to pick up another copy. MP is so friggin awesome!!!!

The gamestop (which I swore I would never go to again) had one copy of Battle for Middle Earth. I had the guy scan it to check the price and he swore it 'scanned' for $49.99. As already said, those are pricks.

I have ~$50 to spend. I'm thinking of grabbing Far Cry and some other 29.99 game tomorrow from the EB.

Condemned is pretty dang good. KK is really really short. PGR is tough but a good racer. You should choose between Condemned and PGR and save KK for later when it is even cheaper.

That's why you buy a copy then trade it in and return your copy to the store when yours comes in ... that is unless they do some dumb "not for resale" sticker on the box.

Traded in Zelda:TP (WII) and Madden 07 (ps2) and got Fight Night and R6:V for $12. I know Zelda is a good game, but I just couldn't get into it. Went out specifically looking for R6:V, found one copy at the 6th store I tried....Teach me not to call first!

They questioned adding the card with the coupon at first, but were cool about it and said they would try it. Obviously it worked.

well I couldnt find what I wanted.(Kameo) they had 1 copy in but the jackasses lost it. so I picked up LOTR BFME2 and Viva Pinata for $40

I managed to get Chromehounds at the second store I went to. The first store said he had 2, but then when I went in he couldn't find them anywhere. The second store had a few in stock and when I went to pay the (EXTREMELY obese) clerk looked at the print out and said "Hmmmm, where did you get this? Was it in an email"? Since I didn't know if he was going to take it I said "Yeah, some email with a link to the flyer that said to print it out and bring it in". Scored CH for $20 and some change with Edge card.

Thanks OP! I went to two nearby EBs and got: Tony Hawk P8, Chromehounds, Prey, N3, Table Tennis, and Arcade Unplugged for $134 and change with coupon and Edge card. Unfortunately they didn't have any newer games that I wanted, but this is still a awesome deal! Neither of the stores I went too had seen the coupon before either. :)

I went to about 8 different stores but I finally managed to score a used copy of Fight night 3... and the best thing about it was the cashier rang up the 25% off twice so I got the game for $11.24 total. NICE

I picked up during this sale 99 nights, NBA 2k7, Prey, Fight night 3, and table tennis for a total of $85... not bad at all.
