It has gotten a release date acccording to 1up

2K Games confirmed to 1UP that the long-awaited, much-anticipated Irrational Games first person shooter BioShock (http://www.cheapassgamer.com/forums/) will release for the Xbox 360 (http://www.1up.com/do/newsStory?cId=3156204#) and PC in June of this year. A two-week-old post at the BioShock Through the Looking Glass Forums (http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?p=1537090#post1537090) from a user named "2K Elizabeth" who sports a "2K Games" tag below her name first mentioned the June release. I'll let you in on the official word on the release date: June 2007. Heard it here first. ;-)
Summer lovin' had me a blast.

no problem, but I most likely won't be updating this thread like you do, so if you want to create the all in one you can go for it...

Great news for the typically big-release scant summer. Here's hoping it's really true.

"June" in January should be read as "August" or arguably "September". Unless it's Rockstar or a Peter Moore tattoo, one should always add at least two months to a projected release date/month this far out.* C'mon, you know I'm right.

*--Annual sports franchise entries and hastened-for-the-holidays sequels exempted, of course.

This is the game with the girl and the drills going through people? Looks good, but too creepy for my taste. I am a big pussy though.

Just look at last summer though... a publisher stands to make a lot of money by releasing a great game during a drought. Do you think Chromehounds or Dead Rising should have sold as many units as they did? Probably not, but people needed something to play.
