I impulsively picked this game up at the TRU clearance and I've played through the first two chapters...it's kind of boring. Does the story or gameplay get any more interesting past this point or should I offload it in a trade or via ebay?

I bought this at the Toys R Us clearance too and I agree with you. I played a little bit of the game and I am bored out of my mind. I love the classic Lucasarts adventures and the new Sam & Max episodes are so much fun! But this is not what I was expecting. I like Myst and Riven, but this is uhhh... again boring.

If you don't like it at about two-three hours in, the game probably isn't for you. It's more of the same sadly.

Anyone want to trade something for it? lol.

You might as well finish it. The game isn't that long at all and can be easily done in like two sittings.
I liked it...

Yeah, I thought so at first too, but I think it just takes your birthdate off the DS itself (I think you enter it at some point)

I was a pretty decent point-and-click adventure game. Finish it before you sell it. You're close to 1/2 way there already.

Wow, so much hate! I got it at TRU as well, and I'm loving it so far. It's a nice change of pace. Sucks to hear that it's over so soon, though.

Get the "good" ending on it. That's where the moneys at. I got the shit one my first go around. Yet to replay it. I liked it though and I blazed through. It is indeed a good change of pace.

What's wish room?
I liked this game, very Sierra early 90s feel to it.

What do you have to do to get the "good ending." I don't mind games that have different endings, but games with deliberately bad endings piss me off.

Actually I think all you need for the good ending (if we're talking about the same thing) is to recover all of the ghost kid's memories as you play throughout the game. You have to pretty much examine everything or else you might miss one, and then you won't get it.

Correct. I just finished the game and got the good ending. It was a bit short, but honestly, I loved it. It was fun, and the story was fantastic. While it may be unlikely, I hope to see a sequel someday.
