Launch box still kickin. Has frozen 5 times... pretty damn good. That's less than my Sega Genesis used to freeze by a long shot.

Just got the E 74 error on one of the repaired ones I got back from MS.

AfterEdit: "E 74: AV cable error... There is a problem with the AV cable, try using a different AV cable. (could also be a problem with the encoder chip)"

I got it to work after a few tries. I'll probably be calling up MS after I play a bit of Lost Planet. I don't feel like missing out on another game at launch because of a faulty system. I missed out on Gears of War at launch because my 360 was at the repair center.

About 11 months old & still truckin' for me (thank the lord), and even though it's too late probably the poll should be changed to reflect people who have had to send it in more than once to the repair center (considering you can only vote once).

I've heard that for effiency, they don't send you your console back. They send you a refurbished console back. So basically, you have to take consequences for everyone else's fuck ups. I mean, it is possible that one was in worse condition than yours.

What would you rather have, a system where they simply give you a refurbished unit or where you'd wait an extra few weeks to get YOUR console back?

One possible problem with this pole is a lot of us have had multiple 360s, so which one do we put? That could skew the results one way or the other artificially.

Okay, well my first two died. Third's okay (unstableish, but I think that's poorly written software). I don't use it as much though, so I'm iffy as to whether it would still be working if it got the amount of use my other systems do.
