And a 360, which one has the better online play? COD3 doesnt have a demo, and I have COD 2 for the computer. Also, the next COD is gonna be made by a better crew. No, I can buy COD 3 for 40 dollars tom. or Vegas today for 35... which to do?

I own both, and have only opened Vegas...
Vegas' multi-player suite blows me away, though. What with the single-player campaign, the ability to play that campaign with friends, terrorist hunt and the other online modes, it's an amazing value.

Graphics Sure do suck though in multiplayer right? Atleast not as pretty as single player.

I say get RS:V but I haven't played COD 3 this is just from my experience with COD2

COD3's mulitplayer is where it's at, tanks and vehicles make the game.
Vegas' mulitplayer was a letdown, the graphics are badly last gen, and I've ran into alot of lag problems

Game questions go to the sticky thread now fyi, but Call of Duty 3 wins this by a landslide. The graphics, gameplay, game modes, and maps are a lot smoother and "next-gen". War mode (CoD3) is the god of all multiplayer gametypes, period.

Personally I prefer CoD 3 online over R6:V. R6:V was a letdown to me. The MP feels WAY too run-n-gun to me, there seem to be no tactics used at all. Also there is such a rediculous amount of boosting online. My experience on CoD 3 online has been fun so far. It is also more of an arcade experience, but I expected this coming in being a veteran of the CoD games. Rainbow Six just disappointed the crap outta me overall. I think it depends on which Rainbow Six games you have played before, the older PC ones vs. the newer console ones. This was my 1st Rainbow console game and I have to say that I wasn't that impressed with the new direction of the series. Here's to hoping that we PC gamers get a sequel to Raven Shield next.
And its really weird that I feel this way about R6:V because I feel the exact opposite about GRAW. I loved that game. It is one of my top 5 360 games. It had some similar changes from PC to consoles but for some reason it didn't bother me at all. IMO it's a great game.
I guess I am not to much help, but I just got Vegas and I love this game.

I wouldn't say they suck, but they're not as sharp as the single-player graphics.

Call of Duty 3 has awesome multi-player, and there should some new maps coming out for it pretty soon also

CoD 3 has demo in this upcoming issue of OXM....it's in another topic here..
I have R6:V and I like it...I don't play it as much as Uno or Gears, though.

R6's online graphics SUCK.
Im having a blast with it regardless, the cover system is amazing.

If you like traditional PC shooters, with shades of realism, much like Day of Defeat, get Call of Duty 3, its amazingly fun online and despite what anyone says, the single player is fun. Plus, it has CTF, which makes it a winner in my book. (I'm looking at you Gears of War! *shakes fist*)
If you like hyper realistic shooters where 1 shot equals death most of the time with a few traditional game modes, get R6:Vegas. The single player is also quite fun, properly taking down 10 terrorists with just a 3 man team can be satisfying when you do it just right.
I've finished both games single player, and would say R6 is the better of the two, however, I enjoy Call of Duty 3 online far more than R6. R6 gets old fast with the terrible team stacking that seems to plague any ranked matches.

yeah it is, ive played both. CoD3 is a disgrace to the franchise, and FPSs in general. Why wouldnt my opinion be valid?

Because you didn't back you statement with your detail opinions. I could say something sucks, but if I don't state why then most people would just ignore that comment.
