I'm trying to find a decent gaming quality PCI Express gaming card at an affordable price, but Futureshop and Best Buy seem to mark up the price on these sorts of things. Anyone have any deals/reccomendations?

Futureshop and Bestbuy is only good when they have clearances on their video cards, else the prices are usually way off.

Here are several important questions you must ask yourself:
How much are you willing to spend? Do you prefer Nvidia or AMD/ATI? Are you willing to buy through a website? Do you care about getting a Direct X10 card now or are you willing to wait until your next purchase? What resolution do you set your monitor at? How many watts can your power supply handle and do you have adequate cooling?

Here's an great buy I have found:

It'd be nice if it had 512MB but I there's not much that really takes advantage of the extra RAM anyway.

Just noticed earlier today on redflagdeals that ATI has a 'clearance' section that might have something you'd like - probably worth a try, at least...good luck!

Gotta agree on that one. If I do decide to upgrade my pc (thanks 360) I would wait at least a year, that way you will find reasonably priced DX10 cards.

You could try for this as a temp card until affordable DirectX10 cards come out:

Currently OoS but that might change.
