yea, i also had this problem with civ 4, when i put the disc in and click install, it says epson scan not ready and then it goes to the troubleshoot window for that, right now, my printer is at college and i cant just plug it in if that is the problem, i have tried uninstalling the printer software, but i keep getting a closed due to error crap that windows always has, so does anyone have any clue what to do?
its just stupid that when trying to install a pc game, it wont do it because the printer(which isnt hooked up) wont open
its with those two sid meier's games, everything else is fine, just railroads and civ 4 because those are the only two i have tried
