4th of July.....Cookouts or Gaming

What will you be doing for the 4th? Out in the sun eating food off the grill, swimming, and watching fireworks? Or inside with the shades pulled down, AC running, and playing videogames?

I'll be doing the outside stuff, (hey, I never said I was hardcore) but I was wondering which side of this question the CAG community falls on more.

I think it's kind of funny that my abbreviation for "air conditioning" in the original post is highlighted as "after coupon".

If you've got the shades pulled down, and the after coupon running......well, you're probably not going to be staying very cool, but at least your games are cheap I guess.

You need an option for both. I will definitely have my brother and friends over for some smoked, grilled. and/or rotisseried meat, but there will also be plenty of gaming.

well this is actually the first time in years that im not going to see the fireworks. cuz some local radio station called rock 101 had a skyshow with bands and games and fried dough mmmm fried dough. anyway the skyshow was enough fireworks for me. but i will probably be grilling some burgers we have many and some "GERTHY" Hot dogs

Now the 5th of July which I miraculously have off of work.. that's going to be nothing but sitting in a hot tub, playing video games and drinking pitchers of margaritas. And yes, all at once.

My mother's neighor is a HUGH fireworks freak. He works a second job all year just so he will have a few THOUSAND dollars to spend on fireworks. Most of the stuiff we has is the sort of thing that would normaly require both a license and a firemarshal standing by when used. But he knows a dealer, so he's got the hook-up

So I'll be sitting in my mothers front yard watching him go to town...

That reminds me of my trip to SC a couple of years ago for the 4th. Fireworks, Booze, Drugs, and Girls. That was the best week ever! Bottlerockets are awesome, then I got these fireworks that blew up inderwater. Oh, and the morters! Cant forget those.

That reminds me of making hand grenades- An small 'homemade' m80-like firework we made from piccolo pete's, caps, rocks, and a bunch of electrical tape. The best part was you don't light them; you throw them (or let a car run over them)

nice. When me and my friends were toking on a blunt, we would take a hit, hold it in, put a dorito by our face, my friends dog would come up, we blew the hit in her face and she ate the dorito.

I might be able to go outside for the last few hours of sun--that's after the Halo tournament I'm gonna be in :D . I can't fucking wait!!! It's just gonna be a small tournament hosted by my local BB, so no prizes (I think) or anything special--just the experience and entertainment you get from just participating. I think I'll do quite good as I can beat both my friends 50 (kills; me) to 25 (both of them), and that's when they're on the same team. Anyone got any tips or stories of Halo tournaments they've participated in?
