Most of the games in this super vague bundle might be quite bad, but for 12.48 soul calibur 2 and spider-man 1 might be worth it. And I can only guess at the games included due to the one item that describes it, the picture.

Soul Calibur 2
Spider-Man
Strike Force Bowling
Pro Bass Challenge
Pinball Hall of Fame
World Championship Poker

I don't wanna sound ass-ish (even though I'm a proud capitalist), but I wonder how much the resale value would be at Gamestop for those...

Most of those would probably be $1, but if you wait for the trade 3 for $10, you could get $20-something.

I bought this a while back. Probably around 6 months ago and I sold or traded all of them but I remember trading in Soul Calibur for about $6. I sold the rest with a few other games and got like $25 for all those games but trade in wise you should at least be able to get that $13 back if you don't like the games.

I traded that Sould Calibur game at Gamecrazy though. If you go to Eb or Gamestop you'll most likely get a dollar per game if that.

I don't know if they'll ever have a deal like that on last-gen games again. Every time I've been in an EBStop they've been packed full of XB/PS2/GC games and had very sparse 360 sections. I would expect them to blow out the old stuff, but I don't know why they'd want to take it in again.

I really wish EB was doing that extra $10 per 2 games trade now like they did 2 years ago. This bundle would be perfect for that.

Yea, I bet the 3 for 10 bucks is over since all the next gen consoles are out.

I'm just waiting for something better than the B2G1 free for all the old gen games. There's alot of cheapo xbox/ps2/gcn and I would like to get them for a even better deal than B2G1 free.

I wouldn't be so hasty to write off ever seeing another good deal on trading in XBox/PS2 games. The next generation is brand new, and give the highest console prices we've seen in quite a while, I think it's going to take a while for them to catch on. In the meantime, the number of current-gen consoles is huge. There are millions and millions of PS2s out there right now. There are only a fraction that many PS3s. If I were running a game store, I'd bet that for the foressable future (probably the next year or year and a half, at least) the current generation is still going to be the console of choice among many gamers out there. And all those PS2 and XBox users will be looking to buy used games somewhere...

dude u r so close, just take it one step further, the last gen games are still going to be selling good because of the base they already have PLUS all the new next generation consoles are BACKWARDS COMPATIBLE with the last gen games so even once the next gen consoles are more in abundance then last gen there's still gonna be a base for those old games so if they are kick ass games then peeps will still buy/trade/sell them for years to come!!! IMO

Amazon had it for 12.48, but sold out, the price your seeing now is from their marketplace not Amazon

Excvellent point. And I didn't even think of that part. In any case, though, the PS2 is one of the most successful consoles ever, and the next gen isn't going to take over overnight. The current generation has at least another year or more of good games being made for it, which means that people will be trading them in and wanting them for quite a while yet.

Heck, it was only within the last year that I finally stopped seeing used PS1 games at my local GS/EB. And that's, what, like 5 years after the PS2 came on the scene?

I actually ordered this bundle a day before this thread showed up on the forums, though I believe the deal was listed in the Cag-O-Matic at the time.

Needless to say, it arrived about 2 hours ago. It came inside a box........ inside a box.

yeah. Mine came in a sealed box within the amazon shipping box. Initially I thought the 6-pack would come in those retail boxes with windows into which you could see the games.

YoshiFan1

I think they do that because it wasn't going into a retail store so it saves on packaging and shipping to send it like that.
