If your friend bid, how are you stuck paying for it? Is he using your account? Is he the current high bidder (someguydark), or has he already been outbid at the time of my post? Also, knowing your friend's maximum bid would be useful.

no you would be one of those people that are on ebay making it worse for sellers and the whole ebay community. ebay has a new surge of non paying bidders we the sellers hate.
if the acution ends and you are the winner contact the seller tell them that you will pay there listing fees and the final sale % (4-10%) that ebay takes tell tham you cannot pay and explain why. plus remeber that 70% of bidders on ebay are last minute bidders most of my acutions do not get bids until that last 5 mins so you might get outbidded.
