I was just looking at the site to see if they had any instock still because I had purchased them for $20 and they had been $30+ a while ago. Anyway, they have been reduced downto $9.99 and they have free shipping and I think $2 2-day shipping. I won't get mine until Wednesday, even though they arrived last Thursday, because my college's mail system is retarded. One of my friends bought these a few months ago for I think $40 and said they are really good. Some other company called Zalman, I think, has released these as well, but they just slapped their logo on them.

These are probably best for someone who can't afford a surround sound system or doesn't have the room for one.

EDIT:

Here's a Google search for reviews of the Zalman 51 headphones which are identical to the MM Gear's: REVIEWS (http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&client=opera&rls=en&q=zalman+5.1+headphones+review&btnG=Search)

I'm interested. But the company doesn't seem to have good reviews on its other products. Does anyone have a link to a review of this set?

First of all, I just want to say that in general, surround sound headphones have a really artificial sound. For someone who has never listened to a real surround system, these things might be a deal. Actually for this price, they are a fricken deal.

Just don't expect amazing sound.

From what I have read from some reviews a while back, the sound is generally good for games and movies, but may seem a little flat with music, but mostly classical music. You may need to use some equalizer software along with the headphones. I haven't personally listened to anything with these yet so I can't say anything about them in the quality of sound that they produce. I would definitely go look for some reviews on the product. You may look for reviews of Zalman 5.1 headphones as well as they are identical to the MM Gear ones except for the logo on the headphones.

Man, it not being shipped to PO Boxes just kills the deal for me :(

Even though I know these things won't sound amazing, I still may pick up a set. For $10 I can't go wrong.

Hell, I paid more for these cheap ass headphones from Kmart that sound like an AM radio broadcasted through a hobo's ass.

Ouch. Tried ordering right now, but it says it's out of stock.

Haha, guess I shouldn't have spent all of that time trying to find reviews on it.

They must not have had many left. I've seen the MM Gear and Zalman headphones on other sites and the prices range from $40 up to $80, so it was a little odd seeing them for so cheap at ZipZoomFly.com.
