Ok, I don't know a whole lot about wireless internet. I mean, I know enough to set it up at my house, but if you asked me the difference between the different wavelengths, I'd be clueless.

Ok, I've got this router

downstairs. It's a pretty decent distance away. In fact, I actually had to get THAT router because this one (I think it was that one. I know for sure it was a Linksys)

didn't have the range I needed.

Ok, so now that's out of the way, what do you guys suggest? I mean, I'd like it to be cheap, but I also want it to actually be decent with what I've got. Any and all help is appreciated.

I was looking for a wireless adapter for a while untill I came across this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16833127145

I have had it for about six months and it easily gets from good to excellent signal strength at 54 mbps. I had a usb adapter before this card and it got horrible range and was unreliable. In my experience stay away from usb adapters.
