Spectreon wanted me to ask if anyone knows of a deal on this anywhere B&M. He got it at Wal-Mart for around $34, but if he can find it cheaper he'll take back the sealed Wal-Mart copy. Thanks in advance.:)

Whoops. I saw it for $9.99 at a used cd store and passed on it. I didn't realize the regular price was so high!

I think it has a mail-in rebate for those who owned the previous edition. Anyone knows the amount of the rebate, and what needs to be mailed in?

It's a $10 upgrade rebate for either of the previous versions. You need to send in those little proof of purchases from both DVDs and the receipt from the 4-disc version.

Also, if you buy 4 disc Narnia version, check and make sure you have the DVD guide booklet. Many copies of the 4-disc are missing the booklet, so you can call Disney and talk to a rep to get your booklet sent out.

Dang! I didn't know about the booklet. Is there a way to tell from the outside? Also, is the proof of purchase required from the 4-disc set or just the receipt will do? If required, is the proof separate/hidden and not part of case? 'Cause I don't think I want to mulate the case, especially when it's going OOP.

I got it at Buy.com with $10 off for new Google Checkout customer for $25.99. Is the rebate for owners of the previous version included in the DVD case?

And DVDPlanet has it for $32.21 minus $10 for GO - so $22.21 with free economy shipping, but it's currently out of stock.

I don't believe there is a way to tell from the outside if you have the booklet or not. But Disney sent it out really fast; I got it in about 2 days.

Both proof of purchase & the receipt is required for the 4-disc edition. The proof of purchase is located inside the DVD case and is easily ripped off and doesn't do any damage or mutilation to the case itself. Unfortunately, for the regular edition you'll have to cut a small hole in the cover.

Yes, inside with the usual Disney mini-pamphlets.

As the others stated, its probably not gonna be found for lower than that 35 B&M. Another thing about it going out of print, most retailers I've seen don't ship it back, they just sell through. I've seen several that were put back into the vault and still have seen them in places like Walmart for upto 6 months later. The only places that I can think of that would probably send them back are places like Suncoast
