"Egghead Software was founded in 1984 as a computer software retail company. It grew into a chain with over 200 stores in the United States, primarily located in shopping malls. Faced with declining revenues, in 1998, the company shifted its focus to online business, closing its retail locations and selling entirely through its egghead.com website.
Egghead was hurt by a December of 2000 revelation that hackers had accessed its systems and potentially compromised customer credit card data. The company filed for bankruptcy in August of 2001. After a deal to sell the company to Fry's Electronics for $10 million fell through, its assets were acquired by Amazon.com for $6.1 million instead."

My guess is this is some sort of joke, as Im pretty sure egghead is no more. Unless there is some sort of mom and pop shop somewhere with the same name.

Egghead closed all their B&M stores and went online-only. They went out of business, but were absorbed by Amazon. The OP is pretty much worthless and should be deleted if it isn't corrected/clarified soon.
I havent seen an egghead since 1988. I think I used to buy C64 games there.

Heh, I got Champions of Krynn, an old Dragonlance game for my family's Apple IIe back circa 1991 at an Egghead. Pretty awesome that we still had an Apple IIe in 1991...
Ultima I-IV were like my first videogames and boy are they hard when you're 5ish.

I bought Warcraft II at egghead. I remember they had some sort of buy X get 1 free thing then. It might have been like a member punchout card. Good times man. It's funny that 12 years later, I see one of the female workers from then hanging out at Gamestop sometimes. (not working there, just hanging out)

at this point it's not worth reselling unless you're dead broke.

I went over to my local CompuAdd and found a whole stack of Wiis!!! but no copies of EA's WasteLand for the Apple IIe or AlterEgo or Broderbund's Karateka. darn!

Oh i'm surprised no one noticed sunday....but oh well here it goes.
Circuit city, best buy, and i think frys had ads for this past sunday for wiis.
Here's the break down for my area.
Circuit city: 40 sold in 1 hour.
Best buy: 41 sold in less than an hour and there was a line!
Frys: 50 sold in an hour.
Walmart: 6, sold minutes.
Gamestop: had a few they werent "allowed" to tell me how many but i missed one by 10 min. oh well.
