So I get up early today to get to CC at 11am hoping to beat everyone to the games. I get there at 11 and i already see someone going through the titles. Then I ask how he heard bout it and of course he says CAG. I talk to him a bit and he says he barely posts. I then keep looking through and two more people come in, one helps me find a title of Futurama. After this I totally forgot his username on CAG he spends about an hour looking through the games. finding all the 5 buck games. He tells me which are worth the money and so on and it comes to a copy of Grabbed By the Ghoulies. I badly wanted this game and very nice of him he gave me his copy. I was in shock. And he sumed it up with something so great. "Thats what cheapasses are for." Thanxs for the great experience. Good times. I walked away with 18 titles.

I went to CC saturday night and I snagged 3 Xbox games. THere were more $5 games but I was going for quality not quantity.
I went to another C.C. early Sunday more and there were about 3 people with lists going the bins. I think they were not CAGs; They got their information from another website though...

I met some guy from dealrush. He was cool, and was checking random titles just incase they were on sale.

What's sad is that I would get excited if I met a fellow CAG while looking for cheap games(I'm 24, that's why it's sad). I'll occasionally ask "are you a cheap ass gamer" if they seem to be in the know and then they get offended like I called them retarded or something. I don't count the ones I've converted, this circuit city deal brought in 2 more of my friends :D .

I love being a CAG. I would put it on my resume if I could. Too bad I'm the only in Columbus, GA. Anyone else feel like we're rivals with fatwallet and other groups. This feels totally like a Guild or something!

My experience was the complete opposite. I walked in a little after 10 am today. CC opens at 10 am here plus its closed on Sunday's. Well, I get through the front entrance and straight to the games area. What do I see? Atleast 12 different groups of people with lists ransacking the games area. Specifically two early forty year olds with hand carts filled with games. Nobody wanted to talk. Just a bunch of animals. Cold and ruthless. So, I just gaveup my search and went for breakfast.
I still can't get over how many people were there. It was like a freakin flea market there. Oh well. Wish I had my digital camera to show you what I saw. It was pure greed. Evil.

I love the whole concept of CAG love!!! Making friends and sharing deals is the spirit of this site. Damn all those greedy a-holes that buy up all the game that they hear about on CAG, and then defend thier actions when we bitch about it. That runs counter to the whole CAG ethic.
I'm glad you had a good experience; out ot the 2 CCs I hit yesterday, one was full of cool people, and the other one had the biggest jerk ever in it.

Not many Miami CAGers. Only seen 2/3 on the boards, but never met any of them
A bunch of people with lists showed up at one CC I went to. There were a couple groups that came in and split up to find more games more quickly. Outside of the groups, no one talked to each other. I saw one father/son group, the father kept insisting he had enough games, but the kid completely ignored him and just kept searching. Not a lot of love at that one.
The other CC I went to wasn't crowded at all (although it had next to nothing). One employee was very helpful, she scanned a bunch of games for me. She seemed quite surprised by the prices and said that she wanted to buy a few. I let her photocopy my list. Too bad her store was pretty much cleaned out of anything good.

Thanks, mustang. I hope you scored a few more good ones too.
I met several cheapasses this weekend. I think I may have created three more too. While browsing the titles a few people noticed my list and asked what it was all about. I told them about the clearance and CAG.com. One guy was about to buy a couple players choice games purely because they were cheap, instead he got a stack of $5 games.
Share the cheapass lovin'

I had both good and bad experiences.
First, the bad. People with multiple copies of games I want walking around with huge baskets, and ignoring me when I ask if I could have one of them. Another guy I saw was bragging about how his friend grabbed EIGHT copies of Disgaea from another CC. EIGHT. I didn't even get ONE. Went to 5 CC's over the weekend, NO DISGAEA. I didn't get any dupes to profit from this this weekend (though I could be whoring a whole lot of Sword of Mana, Gladius, and Stretch Panic--instead I left them for others or pointed people towards them), and it sucks that other people don't have a similar attitude.
That said, I did have a good experience at the first CC I went to on sunday. The group of people that beat me there by a half hour or so had raided the place, but while they still looked, they continually pointed things out to me that they had already that were on the list. It was the real-life equivalent of FF:CC---I had the Xbox portion of the list with some PS2 and GCN written on it, others had just the PS2, some had limited their lists to a few they initially wanted, but we were all working together to get the most out of our trip.
If the guy that found me a PN03 (one of the last two) is a CAG, and I suspect he may be, THANKS AGAIN. Good shit man.

I made one last run to the CC nearest to my house and grabbed 3 more titles for my kids and one for my neighbor's kid. I ran into a couple of CAG members there and helped them with their list of what games were left. Although it was pretty much cleaned out, there were still games to be had. I asked a couple of employees in the game area if they were putting any titles in the back for a future sale. Both replied "no". I was also told that they restock on Wednesday, but this may vary from store to store. So, keep hunting this week. You may eventually be able to score those titles you want. Good luck all.

I went to CC this morning with a friend and I got 6 Xbox games (Kung Fu Chaos, SX Superstar, Apex, Tetris Worlds, MotoGP2, and Voodoo Vince). I got their right when they opened at 10. I saw another guy in their, he didn't have a list but said he new about the sale. He asked where I heard about it, i said "vg talk" and then I said Iwent to the link to CAG. He said that where he heard about it. I also got my sister F-Zero for GBA. My friend got 12 games including Rygar for PS2, and Marvel vs. Capcom 2 for PS2. He got both Guilty Gear games and some of the same Xbox games I got and Aggressive Inline. The employees got their list from CAG they said. Overall it was fun to get alot of games for really cheap. Thanks CAG.

Wildwop, were you there with the circus this morning (Monday) at the CC in Paramus on 17N? Damn those two forty year old guys with hand baskets. And all I was looking for was a Legacy of Goku GBA game. Missed out on the Best Buy sale. Guess I missed out on this one as well. :(
I think I'm scarred for life because of what I saw this morning. I tell you it was evil. Damn me for not having the camera on me.
