Now that I have a PS3, what PS2 games did I miss?

Ok, I had a PS2 back in the day, but gave it away to my brother when I got an XBOX. The last games I remember playing on the PS2 were GTA:VC and Final Fantasy X. What games should I check out now that BC has been improved?

Not a BIG RPG fan though....only played FFX really, and I did enjoy that to an extent.

Not so much anymore. The update today fixed that.

This thread has a severe lack of DMC3:SE. Heck, just buy the Devil May Cry 3-pack for $30. :)

You may also want to check out Ratchet & Clank: Up Your Arsenal. It's an excellent game, and it has an option where you can play it like a FPS.

Ahh yeah forgot about Ratchet and Clank. Another series I found fun was Timesplitters. If your a Final Fantasy fan you can check out Dirge of Cerberus but i'd honestly wait for it to hit $20 and then snag it for cheap.

Play God of War. If you like sports games, Hot Shots Golf Fore is the best golf game I've ever played.

I see this comment posted often, mostly from Sony haters. But considering that the PS3 has ~100% backwards compatibility with PS2 and PS1 games and since we're on CAG, I don't see the problem. The PS3 was just released so it doesn't have a huge PS3 game library at the moment so of course people will want to pick up PS2 games to try.

The 360 launched and it didn't have many games either - pretty much the same set of third party games as the PS3. So why is there a double standard?

Metal Gear Solid 3 Subsistence is amazing, the adjustable, behind the back camera makes the game 100x more playable, IMO.

Rogue Galaxy is also made of awesome and win.

How about Rez, Ico, or Mark of Kri. Besides those, some guilty pleasures would be Gungrave, The Getaway, and War of the Monsters.
