I have a ton of crap ending sunday night, should be well after the game is over, but still will people not be on the web because they are not really in the mood because of the big bowl game?

it starts at 330 pm pacific which is 630 pm eastern. Most of my auctions end around 8 pm pacific(11pm easters). Unless the game takes like 7 hours, i dont think it will be an issue for me, unless like i said, people are not in the mood to surf the net with super bowl parties and people being pissed about losing bets and all that.

It would be a horrible idea to have auctions ending during or within 2-3 hours of the Super Bowl IMO. But luckily (as already mentioned) you're good. It, Christmas morning/all day, and Thanksgiving evening are probably the 3 worst times of the year to end an auction style listing I'd guess.

This is a very good point. For people like me who don't like football, maybe I can finally score all those hard to get things that I have the reminders set up for.

Don't bet on it... somethings might go unnoticed but there'll be other people to pick up the slack. And if they do go for less, it won't be much.

Its an especially bad idea if they're Super Bowl tickets.

also dont forget the people that use sniping software. But i imagine there would be a few good deals to be had for ebay buyers on super sunday.

i think it would be fine if you are in the city where the game is being played and can meet the winner before the game starts. When i went to the world series back in 2002, there were a ton of scalpers selling tix right up until gametime, and probably into the early innings. I got mine off of ebay weeks in advance, but i would think that the people who waited, they might be willing to pay whatever it takes to get in.
