the XBOX 360 Live vision works with the PS3

i tryed it and it works great

XB0X 360 stuff i tryed on ps3

vision- worked great
wired controller- did nt work
HDvD player-did nt work
wired racing wheel-
dead or alive arcade stick-

I had read that it didn't work, I think on IGN. Maybe an update to the system changed that.

Hmm, that is weird. I tried mine 2 weeks ago and it didnt work. I will try the camera tomorrow and let you all know.

So.....I already bought my Eyetoy for 25% of the price (which came with Eyetoy AntiGRAV) and it works on my PS3. ;)

I tried the camera this morning and it worked! I guess the 1.5 update made the camera work because I tried it 2-3 weeks ago and it didnt work.

I never thought I would see the day where a 360 accesory would work on a PS3. 8-)

Well the PS3 will work with the majority of USB devices so its not surprising. Doesnt the HD-DVD drive actually use the 360 to do something during dvd playback?

I think the HD-DVD drive would work if it were meant to work on PCs as well. From what I understand, the HD-DVD drive is meant only for the 360. Although, I think I have heard of people getting it to work on the PC with some effort. If they had just made it to support PCs, we could've had the HD-DVD working on the PS3. That would've been amazing to have a HD-DVD/Blu-ray/PS3 combo for $700/$800.
