Top link is link to USPS Postal Store. Most people are unaware that they supply FREE shipping supplies including boxes. Just order, and they're delivered direct to your house for free. Only good for Priority Mail packaging though.
Bottom link is the same, but offers eBay branded boxes.

shipping and handling completely free. they deliver direct to your house.
as far as picking them up at the local post office that's a huge ymmv. i never see any at the local post office and i always ask. besides, i use about 20 a month for eBay etc. my local p.o. always out of stock.

My local post office, they have them, but they dont give a lot of them out.
Last time I asked for 5 small flat rate boxes and they only gave me 2.

downside to these boxes are you MUST pay the flat-rate of $8.10 to ship it, even if its really light. its good if your shipping something heavy tho
EDIT: nm, i only saw the flat-rate boxes. they have Priority Mail too
