Would they swap their ECTO-1 for my Munster's Koach? If not, I'd be willing to throw in the truck used by the Beverly Hillbillies.

That could be a trademark for the site. We join together to raise money for it. Of course we all get to drive it once. :)

I'd put the most insane stereo in the back of that thing and just BLAST the theme song all the time.
I've seen the car itself go for <$60k at auctions before in mint condition. A person with enough time and attention to detail could get that together for maybe $80k tops.

You do that Huey Lewis might sue you.
That thing looks 10x better than it did in the movie, that's for damn sure.

Too hot to handle, too cold to hold
They called the Ghostbusters and they're in control
Had em throwin parties, for a bunch of childrens
While all the while the slime was under the buildin
So they packed up the crew, got a grip, came equipped
Grabbed they proton packs out the back then they split
Forgot about Vigo, the Master of Evil
Try to battle my boys? That's not legal!

Makes me wonder where all these cars will end up in 30 years, like that guy who had a real Mach 5
I've seen this car in person numerous times, the guy would always bring it to this local car show. The lights and everything on this thing is awesome, its always been my favorite of the shows.

Already have 2 General Lee (one's a 73' Charger replica - my daily driver and I know it's the wrong year) and the other is a work in progress 68 charger that I'm converting to a 69. But hell yeah, that's a car I would love to own and drive. That and the BTTF Delorean.
I wish I had Bill Gate's money...

I'm sorry, I didn't quite catch that.....
Delorean's are made in the 80's, not the same car if that's what you mean. :)

Huey Lewis? Don't you mean Ray Parker Jr.?
Huey Lewis sued Ray Parker Jr. for stealing the Ghostbusters sound from his song "New Drug".
On topic, I fucking want it. The switch for the siren on that thing would NEVER be in the "off" position.

It's in nice condition cosmetically. But those older boats are a pain to drive, as much as I love the sway and lean as you take a corner. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v76/guinaevere/smilies/blush.gif
That could be a trademark for the site. We join together to raise money for it. Of course we all get to drive it once. :)Ah, but that doesn't really capture the CAG ideal. But it is a rockin' idea. How about when the Beverly Hillbillies truck comes up for sale, we all spring for that?
Makes me wonder where all these cars will end up in 30 years, like that guy who had a real Mach 5pfft. I'd be impressed if it went mach 5.
But hell yeah, that's a car I would love to own and drive. That and the BTTF Delorean. ooohh... I loved the Deloreans! You know what they say about DeLos, don't you (http://img255.imageshack.us/img255/1344/dmc12hh3.jpg)?

You're right about the Ecto-1 being long. I believe it's 22 feet, so yes, turning would be a tad difficult. A bailbond company here in Huntsville has many Cadiallic Ambulances, including an actual Ecto-1A from the second movie. Or so the guy claims. I cannot be sure. It does look like it has it's fair share of battle scars. I plan to get my car out there and take some pictures of it when weather becomes warmer.

Keep the 68 a 68. The taillights alone, man....the taillights. Too nice of a car to make a clone.
