Money Orders: how long should I wait?

So I sold an item on eBay. Winner said she'd pay with a M.O. and mail it to me the next day. This was a week ago today, and I haven't gotten it yet. How long should I wait before contacting the winner to confirm if she mailed the M.O. if I don't get it? I don't want to contact her too soon and annoy her. This is the first time somebody on eBay doesn't pay me using PayPal. Thanks!

You need to wait until at least friday at the earliest to contact her. 7 days is not enough time at all.

The USPS seems to be slow lately, it took 10 days for an item to get 2 states over through 1st class

When people SAY they are going to send money orders they usually send them 3 days later. Then sometimes the post office is slow of course. Yeah wait til Friday then politely ask...

Wait until Monday and shoot her an email, most people don't send MOs as quickly as promised and the post office can be really slow with letters.


and in the future you can always accept only paypal for payment, I really like MOs but far too many people take forever to ship them, then laughably wonder why their item took forever to arrive.
