hope they make one for the 360 version. Looks like a USB input.. A smart sega would have it work on both systems.

according to 1up show impressions this is a very solid stick... with no plans for a US release at all.
I might have to pick one up when I goto japan this year since importing huge things is always annoying.

Yes I was wondering. I'll take two. Awesome price for what's definitely going to be a fantastic arcade stick.

If it matters to anyone, the stick is confirmed to have Sanwa parts for both stick/buttons.

that shipping will rape you like a 16 year old schoolgirl.
anyway go figure. at least it should be easier to find than damn virtual on sticks. I took me 2 trips to Japan to find 2 of them.

I might be able to get my dad to pick this up for me when he's in Japan in February... its nice because I can skip the shipping cost. I'm getting a fuckload of imports as it is so I might not get this.

Since we're on the topic of sticks. How would the hori ps3 stick compare? I'm debating on getting that one but I already have 2 of them and all I really need is the adapter. Would I be better off getting a new one just because or wait for the adapter to come out?
For the record, I would love to get the sega stick but as someone mentioned..shipping would be a pain.

I heard that the Sega VF5 stick got recalled. Has anybody actually gotten theirs yet?
If so, I would also like to know if anybody has tried this stick vs. the Hori stick as well. Which one would you guys recommend?

I could be mistaken, but from what I heard, they released some sticks, but they realized that it'd take them longer to produce the sticks than they originally thought... so the next batch is delayed for a while.
Anyway, both this and the HRAP 3 use Sanwa arcade parts (basically the best shit there is) so you couldn't go wrong with either. As such, it seems like this'll be more of a matter of personal preference as far as the designs go. I'm getting the HRAP 3 myself.

Finally found the link, http://ps3.ign.com/articles/763/763186p1.html. Looks like they are shipping some as you said.
What about this one - http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-zl-49-en-70-1o24.html, any thoughts? I know this one is also available at Ebgames.com. I'm debating on which stick to get as I'm kind of a newb when it comes to arcade sticks. I have some good ones, but of course, I want the best.

I got that one yesterday. It's smaller than the hori stick for tekken 5. I really can't say much about it because it will only work on ps3 software and I don't have tekken HD or VF:5 yet. It feels fine though.

That's cool. If anybody that has used any of the 3 sticks:
Sega VF5 Stick
HRAP3
Hori Standard Stick
please post your reviews on it, thanks in advance.

Markman's got it and I think he said it wasn't as good as the other two (he collects arcade sticks and he knows what he's talking about a lot more than I do.) The HRAP 3 is more expensive, but it seems like it's much, much better overall. And it's a lot heavier too, which is always a major plus for me.

I want one of those BAD, but PA is charging too much for something that retails for $50.

The only arcade sticks I have:
Dreamcast Agetec Stick
Tekken Ultimate Collection Stick
DOA4 Stick - 360
Pelican Real Arcade Stick - Xbox
Personally, the dreamcast ones are my favorites, but this is all the experience I have with arcade sticks. So I really am taking suggestions/opinions from the experts.
With that being said, thanks for all the information!

Fair enough, but last thing I want to say:
Hori Fighting Stick = DOA4 stick
Hori Real Arcade Pro = Tekken stick
Which do you like better, the DOA or Tekken stick? That's your answer here as well since the designs are identical...

Perfect, this is exactly what I was looking for. Now all I need is some comparisons with the Sega stick and I'll be set.

Hi guys.
Fighting Stick 3 is good for the casual shmup/fighting game fan... but I can't say it's the highest quality out there. Also the button layout is not a traditional JPN arcade stick layout. It's curved for the face buttons in the OPPOSITE direction.
I'd totally recc the VSHG(when it get's relaunched) and the HRAP3 no problem! I'm opening up an arcade stick section on my site soon and it will have ALL the info you'll ever need!
Anyone in Japan want to get me a VSHG cheaper than play-asia? :) :) :)
