Question about HDMI

Does HDMI provide picture AND sound? Or will you need to get sound from a different output? Best place to pick up some HDMI cables?

Monoprice.com sells great cables. They are $8. Don't buy the ones at Best Buy that are $80. And...oh, nevermind.

It's a digital signal, so you don't need an ultra thick expensive cable, as the signal won't degrade.
Though those cheap ones from Monoprice are pretty thick themselves.

Yea, HDMI cables will get you the same quality no matter what the price or brand of the cable... unlike VGA.. oh, nevermind.
