The 20GB is very hard to find for me. I already got mine, but I rarely see them around at retailers. Sony should be shipping more of them and less of the 60GB ones.

the population feels otherwise. But I happen to prefer the 20gb

I think Sony loses more by selling the 20gig instead of the 60. I have only seen a 20 gig once....since then its been 60 EVERYWHERE.

I have seen an equal amount of both the 60 and 20 models. The first time I saw a PS3 in stores (about 3 weeks ago), all they had was the 20 GB

Sony will probably switch to more 20gb and isolate the 60gb to promote that it is as good as a 360 plus blue ray player at only $100.

Doubtful. They lose more $ on the 20 gig vs. the 60 gig.

that's what they should do, but I have feeling it will be the opposite.
So far, they have been shipping more 60GBs than 20GBs, and I believe that Europe isn't even getting the 20GB.
The 20GB is an excellent deal to be honest. I bought the 60GB for the wifi. I have a psp, and was afraid that some of the psp-ps3 connectivity features might not work if i were to use a 3rd party wi-fi adapter. I'm pretty sure it wont, but I just wanted to be safe. I remember that I had one game for the PS2 that didn't work for the 3rd party multitap I had, but works fine with the official sony one.

I've heard Sony may be phasing out the 20 GB. model and that's why it's harder to find.

20gigs do seem a lot harder to find than the 60s.
I might have already purchase one if they were more readily available, but I am kind of partial to the idea of more space and built in wifi.
