So the n64 console lot with the pokemon games went to some guy who just signed up... bid on a ton of stuff, paid for a few things, not for mine. Nor for a lot of other folks. His feedback went from 0 to -4 to -5 to PRIVATE.

I've filed a non-paying bidder report with eBay after the 7 days of waiting, and sending multiple reminders and invoices. Since filing the report, his has become a No-Longer Registered User.

How long does eBay take to refund my fees? And do I have to do anything in the interim?

I see that I can "enter a response" though I have nothing to respond to. I can also close the response if

Any help is as always, appreciated. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v76/guinaevere/smilies/wooper.gif

Generally, you have 7 days before you can open a dispute, and then 7 days before you can close the dispute, so 14 days total.

Ebay will refund your final value fees but NOT your listing fees. If you relist the item and it sells, you'll get your listing fee back, so no biggie.

I'd just close it because you don't want to communicate with the buyer, generally it takes 7 days or when the buyer responds before you can do that, but since he's not registered anymore it'll let you do it early. It should tell you when you choose the option that they will refund your fees too.

It should tell you when you choose the option that they will refund your fees too.Well I just tried to close the dispute, and it brought me to a page with three options for me to choose from.
1) we completed the transaction
2) I don't want to communicate with the buyer
3) didn't pay attention to what three was

I wasn't able to choose anything other than the first option, so I just reloaded the My Ebay page and I'll wait till it's the full 14 days for the refund.

Thanks who ever you are for all the hassle! Really appreciate it. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v76/guinaevere/smilies/grumps.gif

Thanks Roo, for the info.

Yep, on the dispute console in My eBay there is a check mark in the FVF credit eligible column. If that check is greyed out you are not yet eligible and have to wait before closing to get your credit. But basically it's 7 days to the minute from when you started the dispute. So if you started it Monday at 8:16PM, you will be able to get your fees back the next Monday at 8:16PM or later. Pretty sure they spell out exactly what will happen when you choose whichever option. (i.e. "Buyer will/will not get a NPB strike, you will/will not get a FVF credit.")

As Rouf already said you just get the FVF back. No listing fee or any upgrades (gallery, bold, etc.) are refunded.

The times may stretch out if the buyer actually responds to the dispute, but I don't think you'll have that problem. Don't post any responses yourself unless the buyer chimes in with something.

From my understanding, if you relist the item that was sold, you dont get your listing fee back if it sells a second time. I never got anything back. I only get my listing fee back is if the first auction did not sell (no bidder) and I relisted the item through the first auction and it sells.
