This is the Asian version, which, according to PA, is region free and has English support.

$30 and region-free is nice but for this particular game, I think I'll wait for the $19.99 drop. And at that point, I'll probably just wait a little longer and splurge on $60 on MGS4 or even Heavenly Sword. Too bad for this game, PS3 owners are desperate for games but just how desperate are they...?

I paid $5 for a new copy of the original, and won't pay any more for the sequel, weak spot for massive damage be damned...

I really can't recommend the game, but it's a lot more tempting at this price, and it does have some nice graphics. I'll probably just wait until it goes on clearance, though.
EDIT: Well, after reading that the Japanese version has the blood in it, I thought I might as well get it. Don't know about the Asian version, but I understand Japanese anyway and kind of wanted to try out the whole "region free" thing.
EDIT AGAIN: Looks like I must have gotten the last Japanese version of Genji. It's listed as "out of stock" now.

Sweet! A new game that isn't like anything before- a historical game about Japan with real time weapon change - not to mention the fact you can flip crabs on their back for MASSIVE DAMAGE!
Plus for 30 bucks, thats awesome- will it work on the PC?

So THAT'S why I couldn't get the $5 coupon code to work.
Oh well, at least I'll have another game to play on my PS3. Hooray for Giant Enemy Crabs!
