I can't wait to pick this up. Hopefully the online community will stick around for a while. :D

I want this game right now.

Awesome score though, I wouldn't expect anything less from this game :D

Yeah, I'm really excited too. R&C is the best 3D platforming series, and I'm extremely glad to see the series on PSP. I'm definitely going to be playing this game a lot.

But impressive doesn't even begin to describe what Size Matters actually offers. Besides the rather hefty single-player quest (which needs to be played through multiple times in order to get everything)

Awesome.

I'm going to have to agree, aside for the Jak games I can't think of any other 3D platforming games that come close.

Aww, c'mon guys...you all know that the PSP has no games for it.

Right?

Right?

;) Glad to see yet another top notch title hit the system.

Only played through R&C1, but I can't wait to try and go through this one.

Yeah, nice, this will be the first new PSP game I might buy since Loco Roco (OK, and Pirates but that's a port). Maybe I'll dust the old thing off, recharge it, and reset its clock, and finally play it again.

However, I went in to preorder it at GR and they said they have no copies coming in! WTF!? So I'll probably wait for a price drop... Back in the closet the ol' PSP goes (especially if I get a 360 as planned next week - that would bump the poor ol' PSP down to 5th place ahead of only the GBA SP).

Edit - I have to admit the IGN review makes it sound very very good. I might just get this even if GR doesn't come through for me.

Have you played Sly 2: Band of Thieves? I'd rate that and Ratchet & Clank: Going Commando as my favorite PS2 platformers.

Yeah, I've played it (got it for free from the Holiday Demo disc thing :D ) and it was indeed very good (not as good as the first one though IMO).

How funny, I thought the first one was merely good but that the second one reached classic status for me. I felt like it was leaps and bounds beyond the first one. I absolutely loved the Ocean's Eleven feel of Band of Thieves. Plus I was never a fan of the original's horseshoe health system to be perfectly honest.

Multiplayer demo was COMPLETE ASS. Seriously, I was extremely disappointed.
Singleplayer demo was fine.

Edit: Ranking the 1st party games starting from the best: (My opinion of course and I haven't beaten Sly 3 yet)

1. Jak 3
2. Jak 2
3. R&C: Up Your Arsenal
4. Jak X
5. R&C: Going Commando
6. R: Deadlocked
7. Sly 3
8. R&C
9.Jak 1
10. Sly 2
11. Sly 1

Sly Cooper is ass. Complete and utter waste of self-involved furry trash. I don't even know why I play it.

According to both GameSpot and IGN, the PSP was the better system in 2006 as it got more games rated above a 8.0 and above a 9.0.

2 9.0 games already for the PSP this year. Good stuff

I played about 20 minutes of R&C: Going Commando and couldn't get into it for some reason ... although it's probably due to me not giving it enough time (I've had this happen a few times with some highly rated games). This one does look kinda cool, especially since it's on the PSP and I love the idea that there's a TON of weapons. I'm on the fence about this one though ... especially with the $10 off BB coupon it'd be $30.

I've been saying this all along. I bought the most new PSP games last year and I'm betting I'll buy the most new PSP games again this year.

The game does look pretty good, and I'm relieved that the single-player mode is up to scratch. I beta-tested the online portion but I didn't care for it. But then again, I don't like to play any game online.

NVR I looked it up.

Congrats on PSP having a better year review-wise. Looks like 07 is starting off on a good note for both systems.

Anyone else playing this? I'm having a blast with it. This game really makes every game with shit load times on the PSP look like, well, shit. Excellent, excellent game.

Agreed. It's one of the best for the system and certainly comparible with any game in the series -- and that's very high praise.

Yesterday while at Best Buy <Westland, Michigan> I was checking out and they had a couple copies of this near the register with "$9.99" white stickers on them. Of course I grabbed a copy.

Just giving a heads up to the PSP peeps here because its probably YMMV in store only. So good luck gang.

Lucky.

I've been trying to find one at BB for that much.

I want this game, but not for $40. It needs a price drop.
