Grand Turismo 4 is coming out for the PSP on March 15th . About damn time!! Wasnt this game announced around the same time the PSP came out?

Oh, Gods. I had almost completely forgotten about this game. It never even occurred to me that it could still be under development.

I'm not a fan of the GT series, but I would imagine that anyone that was a fan would have already played GT4 to death. Does anyone want a portable version badly enough to actually buy it and play it again?

I think I've lost interest after playing GT1 {PSX} on the PSP , with no rumble it's way too hard for me to enjoy .

That's just a guess date by EB. GT won't be coming to PSP anytime soon. When the developers were asked about a PSP GT, not too long ago, they said would you rather have GT5 on PS3 or a GT on PSP. Basically, they figure we rather have an impressive looking GT game on PS3 more than a portable version of GT4.

Yeah, that would be a total stealth release if they popped it on us in March. I had this preordered nearly 2 years ago from GR and finally cancelled it mid-year last year (and made a profit doing so - trade 2/$29.99 preorder deal, got $49.99 back for cancelling it ;)). Now I'm not interesting in the slightest. If and when it comes out I'll wait for a price drop. Wierd buzz on this one though - it was mentioned at the PSP launch as coming soon and everyone thought it would be out Fall of 2005 - now here we are over a year later and it is rapidly becoming vaporware.

I always thought it was called "Gran Turismo Mobile"? I didn't think it was so tied to being a port/spinoff of 4. Anyway, may not make any difference in the long run ;).

Gran Turismo Mobile ... THE game I purchased the PSP intently for. "Graphics just as impressive as PS2 version, visually identical! etc." Wouldn't that suggest the game engine in its entirety was up and running at some point? Obviously, that slick Supra movie was indeed... just a movie.

I thought they delayed it to include online play, which would have been amazing... nowadays, I've admitted to myself reality...that its never coming out.

On the other hand, WipEout Pure, RR and Burnout were excellent

Last I heard, it was "delayed indefinately" when they released GTHD. Apparently, Polyphony is focusing 100% of GT5.

Yes this is true, but taken out of context. Polyphony Digital has said that they do have a perfect, fully working, full port of GT4 running on the PSP, but they feel that right now consumers want to see GT5 on PS3 more than they want to see GT4 on PSP and that once GT5 is released that GT4 PSP will come soon, but GT5 is their main focus and they will return focus to GT$ PSP once GT5 is complete. I agree with them that most people want to see GT5 right now, cause we wanted to see GT4 PSP 2 years ago! What about us PSPers who have been waiting for this game? I don't have a PS3 and won't for a while, but I do have a PSP. PD needs to focus and finish one project before they start a new one...

We won't see GT4 Mobile or what ever you wanna call until GT5 hits and even then it'll probably be at least 6 months from then.

Yeah, and the Indiana Jones LucasArts game is also coming out in March, if you go by EBGamestop 'release dates'. Rule Number One: Do NOT acknowledge their release dates until they are EVERYONE'S release dates. It is simply a scam to secure preorders from ignorant kids and their even more ignorant mothers.

EDIT: More pertinent to this topic, I have no idea where cduniverse is getting that ridiculous information. Maybe a GameFAQs post?
