Hmmm, I requested it when it was 22 points and it was possessed for 22 points, but now it says they charged me 24 points?! I asked them what the deal was this morning using their forums but they didn't really tell me anything.

EDIT: OK I don't think I was charged more then 22 points for the card looking through my back emails but it is odd how it says 24 points now.

Same here. But don't worry, you were only charged 22. Your remaining points will stay the same, even though it now says you were charged 24. Just disregard it. No real change was made if you already ordered.

I figured this out it is odd how they have this codded. Also the mods @ the forums are worthless, how hard would it have been for them to explain why it is showing the current price instead of paid price.

Legolas813

^ Either get refferal points or wait for them to add new offers, which could take a while. In short: If you've already ordered one free item, don't expect another. You won't be able to keep getting points forever.

It used to be available to everyone, but they are redoing the whole process, so it's only available to select people at the moment, until they officially bring it back.

Also, what happends to these when they get charged for more than they have on them?

If your Paypal balance doesn't have enough money in it when you use the Virtual Debit Card, then funds will be taken from the bank account and/or the credit card linked to your account.

I got a $25 visa gift card (ends up costing $29 - has extra fee at purchase) I spent $21.20 on wii points (price after tax) and just signed up for e-fax. The card went through. I used a fake name, and the address of my local mcdonalds as the billing information. I guess since gift cards have no billing information, it doesn't matter, maybe? Should I even bother cancelling? They'll probably cancel it themselves, once they realize in a month that there is only $3.80 on the card....8-)

Edit: E-fax offer just went through! 7.50 points for me! :bouncy:

I just signed up for bargain homes! I'm going to be rolling in wii points in no time, if this keeps working! :booty:

They seem backed up at the moment, but they'll generally (i presume weekdays) email them within a few hours, upto 24..however if none are 'in stock' with them (which seems to usually happen) they'll overnight it .. atleast thats how they've handled my stuff.

not the case with me. 2 pages of offers. 1 hour, 3.77 points. Big ticket offers like the Silvertag Auctions one dont work anymore. Without them you're looking at filling out a bunch of .30-.50 cent surveys for hours. It looks like a pyramid scheme, initially they're worth a lot and as people sign up they start reducing point values. There are very few offers left that are even worth a full point

Link was broken when I tried it. Works now, but still. Unless you use true.com (which you can already get from xbox360achiever.com deal) or any of the other CC/payment info deals, the surveys by themselves don't give enough points to be worth it. Yeah 30 cents for 5 minutes of my time? no. Thats $3.60 an hour ;)

One question before I try this. Do you need a creadit card?

Link was broken when I tried it. Works now, but still. Unless you use true.com (which you can already get from xbox360achiever.com deal) or any of the other CC/payment info deals, the surveys by themselves don't give enough points to be worth it. Yeah 30 cents for 5 minutes of my time? no. Thats $3.60 an hour ;)
Then don't do it? And I'm not sure what "30 cent survey" you look at.. but most are $1 or higher. I just did a newer (within past few days added) survey that was $2. This is easily one of the better free websites, and one of the fastest. I'm at $43ish with several (tons actually) disapproved, and no CC offers. However, thanks to the 3ish refs too.

It all adds up, I put about an hour a day for about 4 days and I ended up with a wii points card. Referals help alot so keep that in mind.

And no you dont need a credit card. But if you want to finish as fast as possible you should use one.

Just to let anybody know who is trying to use a second account that they are cracking down on such practices. I am unsure what measures they are using, IP, street address, etc., but I am just warning you now.

Of course I do not think that the chances of being caught are high at all, but I just thought I would mention it for those who prefer the side of safety.

Well I'm a 19.39 right now with two .30 to .60 point things pending. I should barely squeak in a card but I just got hit with 11 disapproves. All of them for full point or greater values. There is a lot of duplicate crap in there. i.e. there is one or two generic survey templates that you see coming up again and again. Skip those.

There definitely are some easy approves in there but overall I think this place is good for one prize tops. I'm barely squeaking by with two people's worth of complete referrals too. The disapproves basically make it not worth your time. I think a bunch of people got in early and were lucky for it, but like most pyramid schemes this one's a sinking ship.

It wasn't worth my time. I put in probably about 4-5 hours total today. At this point I just want something out of it since I'm close enough.

Update : yup just got 20 points, if it wasn't for some of you guys having success I wouldn't have kept going despite complaining but it's definitely nowhere near as easy as what the OP went through anymore. Most of the point values have been severely reduced and many of the easy ones are gone. There is probably over 2 pages of duplicates which is nearly half the surveys, I'm sure they get a kickback anyway for wasting our time when they could easily filter them for us. I'll just write this off as a wasted Sunday doing nothing @_@

Yeah, FYI to anyone who is going to try to make a new account:

Don't waste your time. I did 12 offers last nite before bed, and this morning and checked my mail. 3 offers approved, 9 disapprobed. I'm sure most of these are because of IP address. (I cleared out my cookies before signing up & filling them out..)

Yeah so.. meh. Hopefully they add more offers, so I can use my REAL account for it =)

I was able to get about half of my dissaproved offers approved that way. Sometimes, I did the offer wrong without knowing, sometimes if you use another e-mail in the offer, it will work if it is a dupe offer. And I reccomend you check your spam e-mail too. Sometimes they send those confirmation e-mails even if the gaminglagoon description doesn't mention them.

good luck

Oh, and my 2nd and 3rd wii points cards are in the mail, being sent by amazon. They were both approved at around midnight, last night (feb 26th), and will be here by feb 28th. So, that's 6000 wii points total for me from this site! :bouncy: Pretty sweet deal if you ask me! Bravo OP :applause:

I have made it just a rule not to do anything that I would have to cancel, because I just do not want to go though any trouble.

I have already earned 1600 MS points already without it and am about 2.50 away from another one!

So my advice to everyone is to stay away from anything you have to give your credit card info to, no matter how tempting those points are!

I disagree to an extent, those eFax+Silvertag (the Paypal one) was really really easy to cancel, and they were really easy points (what was it, like 13 pts or so total) .. I think, within reason, there isnt much worry behind them .. although alittle research goes a long way.

You definitely need real information for Gaming Lagoon, so they can ship you the stuff, I also suggest a real # for GL. However, on most offers, I put "None" for my address, and just 0000000000 for # .. however some that doesn't work with. I probably wouldn't suggest real information on the surveys and such, however, it is pretty simple depending on the prize your eyeing. You could use this for a free phone # to use for the surveys, though: http://www.netzero.net/privatephone

Ive earned two cards so far. One was relatively painless (under an hour) and recieved via email in little over a day with the new offers on Friday, but the first one took me a long time to do (as I've bitched about previously in the thread). You definitely got to get in early before some offers get too popular and get reduced in pts, or disappear but I've got 6 pts left to go on my third from just mostly referrals, so it is a handy site.

Man.. I think the guy who first posted this lucked out. He probably has free XBL and pts for life from all of us who will keep him constantly up with referrals since we'll be right on the new offers too.

I've posted it at a few places but most forums will quickly mod you and lock it because they think it's a scam which is a pity since a lot of people will miss out on at least one easy freebie. It may be a bit convoluted and depending on how you do it, time consuming but it's not a scam.

Yeah, you definitely won't need a credit card for this site. Though, one can greatly speed up the process. Thus far, I haven't used any CC offers, but I think I will here with all the great ones offered now. The best deal on the site, by far, is the SilverTag auction site for 6.00 points with a Paypal account. It took like 10 minutes for confirmation, and 20 seconds to cancel through PP.

And with all the updates today, I've racked up a full 8 or so points. All of those dating sites were ultra fast and all were approved in minutes!

When filling out my surveys, I used slightly modified info. I used my real school address for surveys (but not for prizes) so that whoever lives here next gets the shit spammed out of them! But I used a similar, but fake phone number.

What's required is that you always use the same email address as GL and most likely your proper name.

I sure hope that the phone number you used is not someone else's. As Foladar mentioned earlier you can just sign up for PrivatePhone from NetZero. It is essentially a number from any area you choose with voicemail. You cannot call from this number. It is free by the way, so I use mine to collect all those nasty calls, because using another person's real number is pretty bad...the spam mail is OK because at least they can recycle it and get money from that! lol :)

Hey, I just thought I'd share this with you guys, seeing as you all like deals.
this site is one of those 1)fill out survey 2) get points, type of sites(sorta like treasuretrooper, but points instead of money). Anyway its really legit, I just got my second 2000 wii Points card. Working on a third now, and I thought since I finally found a site that works, I'd share.
they also have some games(like WoW, WoW:BC, BF2142, WiiPlay, etc.) and accessories, as well as some gift cards.

No credit card needed for most offers(offers that require on are worth big points though, up to like 18, and in comparison, 1600 Marketplace points for the 360 are only 20 points)
Not trying to spam, just showing you guys a deal.

Removed the OP's link from the OP of this thread, because this doesn't need to turn into his own personal referral thread.
I'm just wondering why my link was removed and the thread for that matter. I had both the referral and non-referral links clearly marked the standard on this site. Also a congo line was started so many CAGs have gotten referrals off this thread so the love was spread all around. I was updating the op for new "offers" and prizes to help cags on this offer.

Also I had some CAGS PM me last night asking why this thread was removed.

This site is no different then the "True" offer to get a free Microsoft points/ Wii Points card and the referrals were just a bonus on gaminglagoon, not like the free PS3 sites where you need x amount of people to sign up under you and do x amount of CC offers under you.

I just don't understand how/why you thought this thread turned into "my own personal referral thread." If I could get some feedback on why this thread wasn't ok but the netwinner, whizzy, promosquad......(this list could go on and on) were ok but I got singled out on a GAMING related thread.

This site is CHEAPASSGAMER just in case you forgot and what is cheaper then free? Gaminglagoon and CAG is a great match in my eyes you should try it shrike through the non referral link or by any of the referral links in this thread.

I am not affiliated by gaminglagoon in any shape or form, I just like seeing my fellow CAGS also getting free gaming stuff with little effort.

It was due to someones complaints mid-afternoon when I created a thread, similar to yours, on another website .. apparently he wants refs there too, and would stop nowhere short of getting the thread removed, which caused several threads to feel the same fate, which then caused this section .. which is a step down, since its now user threads rather than website threads =\

edit: you weren't singled out though, I know atleast three threads suffered the same fate.

Anyone that signed up for the 9.50 point offer to freebidding.com and attempted to cancel their account from that website needs to know that their account HAS NOT BEEN CANCELED! I thought I had done that properly, but in fact it wasn't canceled and I have been charged $39.95!

You MUST go to www.segpayeu.com (http://www.segpayeu.com) to cancel your account. You will need your credit card number and email address. I contacted help@segpayeu.com and had my $39.95 charge refunded, but I was only a day late in finding this out. The emails, which I'm keeping, say "per your request, we will refund the money. It will take 4 to 5 days to be reflected on your statement."

The driving4dollars deal is great - $1 for 11.50 points is excellent to me. freebidding.com is also a great deal - $1 for 9.50 points - now that we know how to cancel it! $2 + one deal for a Wii Points card? I'd definitely say that's a nice discount.

Haha, you'll have to find the Romeo's World page again which is a bit tough. I googled "Romeo's World $0.25" or something like that to find it. Then, just find the support email address and email your cancellation to them. I got a response back after I canceled asking why I'd canceled before getting my package and I told them that I singed up for credit on another site and to keep the books and stuff. :)

No. Currently it is taking MUCH longer to process. The company is in the process of setting up a new office and employees. So they're pretty backlogged on processing requests and support tickets. But things are starting to fly now. I've heard several accounts of prize reqests from the 6th are starting to go through now.

It says its free for the first 3 days, then $9.95 for the next month.

Do they charge $9.95 out of your paypal account for the first three days? Because I only have $5.26 in my paypal account. Or is it like a penny charge for the 3 day trial, and then I can cancel?

They don't charge you anything it will say 0.00 in your paypal account for the trial. I unsubscribed about 10 minutes after I signed up for the offer and was never charged a thing (or had any $ held).

EDIT: Around 13 new offers added today most non-CC, that makes around 20 new offers altogether in the last few days.

I only need a few more points for the 1600 points card, I'm gonna get that. Then I'm gonna try to get the Wireless Controller at 40 points since I only have one and i have friends that come over every once in a while, and I don't feel like taking turns anymore. It varies VERY MUCH. Seriously.
I think out of the 8 cards I recieved total, I think I got 3 of them mailed to me. Maybe 2, but maybe 4 LOL (really think it's 3..) and the rest were e-mailed to me.

The length of wait though isn't standard. The longest I've waited was 5 days (JUST for the prize to be PROCESSED!) and the SHORTEST time was 4 minutes!! Seriously, I requested a prize checked my email in a few minutes later and my code was already there lol

I have a laptop that I use at work and home and I've completed offers in both locations and haven't noticed any difference in success/failure rate. I did recently have some trouble with them thinking I had created a second account which I think is due to the fact that I work at a university with lots of students. It's possible, but I'd imagine it depends on how they verify it with GamingLagoon.

I haven't tried it, so I can't say for sure or not.. I do know they require your real phone number @ gaming lagoon to confirm shipment of some of the larger items I've read.
