I had gotten a $10 Amazon GC one time from here, and they sent me it via e-mail. This all happened in a day. Why do they do this shit of SOMETIMES sending it by mail and SOMETIMES sending it by e-mail?!

That's one of the few gripes that I've had with these lagoons. They are just so weird with how they do things.

I'm thinking I'd really like to cash out all the points and add them to my $55 in Best Buy gift cards, but PR won't do that. What's nice though, is I'm finally getting worthwhile referrals! Gaming lagoon knows that you completed an offer by unique cookies that a site leaves after you complete an offer. Gaminglagoon gets paid by the sites that the offers are for. We are getting paid in gaming goods to be advertised to is what it all comes down to.

After you finish an offer you need to report it using the "completed" button on the bottom of an offer. It will then go into the pending offer and check with the system to approve, after a week if it doesn't approve then it will go in your disapproved offer section and you can redo the offer if you please (I have never had much luck once an offer disapproves, ymmv).

Be sure to clean your cookies manually or use Ccleaner (http://www.ccleaner.com/download) before you log onto gaminglagoon each and every time for a higher percentage of approved offers.

Well, I think I've figured out what I'm saving up my points for! I think I'll go for the Wlip (http://www.wlip.es/indexEnglish.html) - a solderless solution for Wii modchips! glad to see this is still going strong. For 3 or less points, you certainly don't need to be begging for any referrals. That should take you less than 10 minutes to earn on your own with MID offers at 0.60 points each.

i actually found this site to be better. the points are easier to get and its less points to get the xbox marketplace points. mostly serveys and has a free section too Rewards1 is good, indeed, but it is no where near as good as the Lagoon Network sites are. On R1 I struggled to get up to 35 points in about 4 days. On Cash Lagoon I've topped the 53 point mark (without referrals) in just 4 days and am still going strong with offers.

I recall several times a moderator (yourself included) would publicly call out someone who did something wrong and brag about how great it was to lock the account (-5000 or whatever it was called, in specific) which shouldn't be done IMO. If someone violated the rules, either (a) delete the topic and send him an email, or something to that extent OR reply stating he simply broke the rules, and leave it at that, rather than brag.

I switched over my gaminglagoon (http://www.gaminglagoon.com/?ref=5467&page=signup) account from yahoo to gmail (http://gmail.google.com/), I wasn't getting all my gaminglagoon emails with yahoo. With gmaill I have had no problems with getting all my gl emails.

You will not get any spam from gl but you will get some depending on what "offers" you sign up for. I have done around 50 offers I may have gotten one extra piece of snail mail than I normally get every couple weeks. You will get phone calls for some offers i.e. if you sign up for more info on a cruise or online schools. I haven't had many phone calls but I do get one every couple weeks. I just tell them nicely that I'm not interested and to be removed from their list and they don't call again.

They are still pretty lenient on GL about fulfilling custom orders. I just got a $100 BB GC approved today. However, on other sites they are MUCH more strict. Best Buy gift cards, or perhaps all gift cards, are not allowed anymore on any site except GL and VGL. This is thoroughly unfortunate and annoying for those of us (me) trying to earn a big ticket item at a place like BB (iPod touch), as it's required me to order actual products with the intent of returing them to BB for the purchase price on a GC. It is strage the stance Gaminglagoon has had throughout the last year. A year ago the didn't have any custom orders, then when custom orders came about they wouldn't order gift cards or video games. Now they do both!

I was never a fan of the the GTA series but GTA4 has tight enough controls it is actually fun now. Sure the majority of the missions are the same cheese stuff but the new cover and aim system makes it not as clunky as the GTA3 games were. So if you are like me and didn't care for the old Grand Theft Auto games you should still give IV a rental.
