What's the one Import title you've always wanted to see get released in the States? It can be anything from SNES to PS2. I'd kill to play a translated version of Persona 2: Innocent Sin for the PS1 and Tales of Destiny 2 for PS2. Also both Suikogaiden Vol 1 & 2.

Yeah, I'd definitely like to play Persona 2: Innocent Sin... I think that we might get a translated TOD2 at some point because IIRC, that was one of the billion Tales games announced for the PSP... so there's a chance it'll come to the US or Europe.

Pick a fire emblem, any fire emblem.
Also, the Tingle game, and any of the Jump Stars games.

Persona 2 was translated a while ago by fans: http://www.chthonian.net/persona/oracle/
I'd personally like to see the Langrisser and Growlanser series translated. Atlus is rumored to be localizing Growlanser V, so I'm hoping that comes to pass.

Except in Europe Tales of Eternia on PSP did poorly.
Tales of Destiny 2 PS2 already got translated, to Chinese and Korean

Giftpia. The earlier Fire Emblems would be nice, too.

Adventures of Tokyo Disney Sea for Gameboy Advance.
Luckily, almost all imports I am interested in (Konami's Bemani music game series) are 95% in English so they are very import friendly.

I think the unreleased GBA and SNES fire emblem got fan translation.
Someone also worked on a patch for Jump Super Star but gave up after the tutor level.

thats a long freakin list. theres so many games that never come out here ive been dying to play. the major one being the kingdom heart remixed games that come with extra stuff like new keyblades and what not.
id also be curious if japan had alot of power ranger games and if they were any good id liek to play some of those too. the ones in america suck bigtime and like with anime we get the watered down versions of everything. i caught some ranger episodes on youtube and they had a guy with what looked liek a sawed off shotgun as his ranger weapon and that character never appeared in the american version. same thing for the masked rider ( or kamen rider) games id liek to see those too.

Now that I think about it, RPGs usually don't do that well in Europe... I was there in July and I didn't see TOE or BOFIII anywhere.

Other than FEs, Mother 1 and 3 are obvious choices.

The games I'd like to see translated are the genres of game that we never get here.
We have enough RPGs here, I dont care if we never see Bahamut Lagoon, or Tales of Generic RPG Cliches VI released here.
I'd like to see one or two games from each of the following genres:
- Pachislot / Pachinko
- Transit Simulator (Train driving sims)
- Dating/Romance Sims
- Simple 2000 Series games
- Mascot Minigame comps
and if these kind of games are ever brought over here and translated, please dont change the Japanese cultural references to 'suit American tastes'. Im playing these kinds of games because I like weird Japanese crap that makes no sense.

Besides Persona 2: IS, I would wish for the impossible: Super Robot Wars! I need more of it. Anything, yes, anything would do.

Yeah, I tried playing through an RPG with a translation like this once and... it's just not very fun at all.

Seems like it'd get very annoying.

It does. Constantly referring to the translation guide is annoying and you can't just talk to random people and actually know which conversation you should be reading... it's essentially the worst case of hand-holding ever since you'll basically force yourself to follow the guide exactly so that the translation works out. Not worth it.

Melty Blood's story mode for the PC version. it's already fully translated...hopefully it'll be inserted soon.
edit: ooh, I guess insertion is done. they've just started beta testing.

I think there was a shadowrun game for playstation. I loved the genesis version so much I would like to see that one translated. However if the game sucks then I switch my vote to Front Mission 5.
Ooh, thanks for the link. Those games could probably keep me busy through the summer.

mother 1 already got translated as earthbound zero. currently 2 groups are doing mother 3.

A lot (15-20) of the simple 2000 games are translated to English for the PAL market. It is not like they change anything either as they the characters keep their Japaneses names. Just look them up on ebay uk if you want them.

MOTHER FUCKING 3
Thanks, assholes at Nintendo.
This game is amazing. I've played the Japanese version all the way through and it's just magical. Sadly I have to have a translation from Gamefaqs up while I play through it. That should not be necessary.

And of course, Phoenix Wright 3 and 4. I know 4 isn't out yet, but I don't think they're attaching the translation to the game like they did with JFA.

I'd love the whole friggin Ys series translated on the PS2 (Ys I&II Eternal to Ys V Kefin). Practically any Falcom game, the Legend of Heroes PC games (5&6).
There's already a translation of Ys felghana goin on, and Ys Origin is comin up soon.

As for another one, Dragon Force 2. The first one was awesome, I can only imagine what the sequel was like.

Fire Pro Returns for PS2...fortunately, someone is slowly but surely translating it. He releases patches once in a while as more and more of the game is translated.
