Wasn't it this price for a long time? Pretty sure it was $30 when I bought mine from them a few months ago.

I think they were OOS for a while.
Not to try and put down the OP's deal, but gameliquidation.com has a neo geo pocket color and 6 games bundled together and it only costs like 20 more
use 15offneonow to bring the price down on it to around 53 bucks.

And the money you save using that coupon covers almost the entire purchase price for Card Fighter's Clash. I just bought another one.

I have yet to get tired of Match of the Millenium. When I do I will pick up Cardfighters (still have the 6 that came with the system and Sonic that have gotten little play due to the greatness of SNK vs. CAPCOM)

MotM is pretty good, but Cardfighter's Clash is one of the best handheld games I've ever played.

This is actually better than the VGL deal cause you can get the color you want. I'm gonna order one of these and one from VGL and keep the games from the VGL one.

Color makes the system worth that much more?
I would rather pay the extra 25 and get 6 games instead of having a choice of color.

Are games still being made for this system? Otherwise, I don't think I could force myself to buy another system for 1 or 2 games.

Sure, it's a dead system, but it's a must-own if you're even the smallest SNK fan...

Where's the FREE Super Saver Shipping?
Apparently no go on this deal & the Ocean Blue is out of stock.
I was looking forward to trying out Baseball Stars...

System is dead and there are no more games for it, but the games it has already are pretty damn good. Metal Slug, several great fighting games (KoF R2, Capcom vs SNK MotM, Samurai Shodown II, etc), some good puzzle games and my favorite, Cardfighter's Clash. I also enjoyed Biomotor Unitron.
You can get a NGPC and most of the best games for it at the same price as a brand new GBA SP.

Dammit, this is renewing my interest in getting an NGPC, when I know that I really shouldn't be spending any more money, and also since I'll never have time to play it.

I'm tempted to check out this system now... at the GL.com site, though.
This may sound like a noob-like question, but does it have a backlight, or is it like the old Gameboys and you have to play underneath a very bright light? :?
Or does it use some other type of screen, can you play it in the dark, or do you need some sort of light to see it?

You def. need a light to see it in the dark, but the battery life is awesome since it runs on a combo of either doubles or triples and a lithium battery. I think I read it has like a 40 hour battery life. If you did buy an aftermarket light, I would think you would get much better performance battery wise than the original GBA.

Ah well, I suppose I'll order one before the Christmas season arrives, as I have no money now.
