Lost Planet is a good rental. I bought it and i'm kinda regretting it, though it is fun. The single player has a lot of "hooooooooly shit." moments.

I'd say hold off for Crackdown.

Crackdown is a lot of fun... I guess it depends really on what you're itching for. If you want a great sandbox game (and the Halo 3 beta as well) then pick it up, as it really is a pretty good game (judging from the demo and the reviews.) If that doesn't really seem that interesting, and you loved GRAW, I'd say get GRAW2... I would, however, rent LOST PLANET like Scorch said.

you don't even need to preorder it. there's going to be plenty of copies around at major chains and they all have the beta invite. i also say to wait, that's what i'm doing because i'm expecting it to drop somewhat quickly.

Spend your $60 on some English lessons at the Sylvan Learning Center.

really u think it would drop? even with the halo 3 beta attached to it?it's not a hyped up enough title for the mainstream, at the least you may see a weekly ad deal like they did it for both GOW and RSV.

Is it just me or is this like the 4th "what game Should I get? Crackdown or *" Thread?

What you need to do is buy a frickin brain and make your own decisions.

If you have any crackdown questions there is a perfectly long discussion thread on it -_-.

Yeah I havent seen a game debated like Crackdown in a while. Maybe since Dead Rising.

I'd say it'll be fairly well hyped, it is already getting national ads. I think it's going to sell pretty damn well. That said, like others pointed I can't see this being all that hard to find on the 20th, no need for preorders.

Isn't Dead Rising still around 60 bucks? Crackdown will stay at 60 till at least summer.

i guess if u love halo you should get it but the game is quite average but thats my opinion. i think u should acctually like the game rather than buy it for the beta access.

Dead Rising sucks.
Lost Planet is very short.
GRAW 2 is more of the same, and you already have GRAW 1.

Crackdown is pretty fun from the demo, appartenly it takes about 30 hours to complete and the biggest feature is that you get to play Halo 3 early! That's the game seller for me right there.

Crackdown will definitely be wortht $60 (just not my $60).

Best choice of all.... plus I'm sure you'll love being in the Halo 3 Beta.
