God of War Coming To PSP

This one goes way, way back. Last year, it was reported that instant classic God of War was going to appear on the PS3 and on the PSP. It seems though that things are gearing more toward the handheld especially when creator David Jaffe mentioned that he's working on "an emotional game for the PlayStation Portable".

Anyway, developer Ready At Dawn mentioned the other day that we should keep an eye on its website in the coming weeks for more hints about God of War. And so that's what we did: we kept an eye on the official site ad the same was done by NeoGAF's reader Jim. And do you know what we found? Well, just take a look at this:

Now, look at the font used in the phrase "Coming Soon". Can you see its resemblance to the official God of War logo? If this isn't confirmation enough, we dont know anymore what is. But don't worry, we'll be here, as always, looking for updates to share with you.

Interesting...I hope it's not a straight port though. If it is I'm not paying full price for it unless it comes out at $20 or less.

Somehow I don't think they'll whore out Kratos like Nintendo is doing with Mario

(and Metal Gear Acid is a good game FYI)

It better be a story about his General days and not some ported crap (even if it ends up being a great port).

Granted, Kratos wouldn't have his Blades of Chaos but could you imangine how brutal he must have been with just conventional weapons?

I didn't mean to say Metal Gear Acid was a bad game I just remember when it came out most of my customers were disappointed that it wasn't in thier mind a true metal gear game. I could envison the same thing if God Of War was a similar game and the same reaction
