View Full Version : How to sell obscure low-demand NES/SNES games?

I'm having some difficulty moving the NES and SNES games off my trade/sell list. Admittedly, they aren't exactly in high demand... games like Commando, Time Lord, Aero the Acro-bat, or the GBC Perfect Dark. There are a few people might want... Adventure Island, Double Dragon, Yoshi's Cookie, the Super Star Wars games, etc... but I'm not getting any bites, and I know eBay is just going to be a waste of time.
Any tips on how I might go about selling/trading/whatever for very old games that aren't in high demand? It's not as if I'm even looking for much money, but there's gotta be something I can do.

If you can get cheap systems, you can always tack them on to those to boost the price up.

If you can't sell them and you want to get rid of them, you can allways give them away. That's better than throwing them away.

Lump all your crap games together and sell them on Ebay. No matter HOW crappy they are, there are people on ebay who are like 'ZOMG! 20 nes games for $20!' It doesnt matter that its games like Lee Trevinos Fighting Golf, and Anticipation!
When I sold off all my nes doubles on ebay, I grouped them by publisher and made up the 'NES Konami Collection' and the 'Nes Ultra Games Collection' It doest matter that they were crap Konami games, they all sold and for way more than I ever thought they would. The trick is to try and put at least one decent game in each group. So I sold a Metal Gear cart, but it came with like 5 other crappy Ultra games. Or a copy of Castlevania with 5 other lousy carts, etc...
