The big chains occasionally run routers for $20, just keep an eye on circulars.

Just look for a 4 port wireless router. Pretty much anything you find instore should be ok for light home use.

Circuit City and Staples have a Netgear router on sale for 20 bucks this week. Works good for me.

I got that Netgear router at Radioshack. I had a Belkin F5D7230-4 before and it worked well. But it needed some tweaking for the 360. It was not on the list of compatible routers for the 360. But the Netgear is! Also, the Netgear router has a slightly longer range. So, it works great for my daughter's PC,Wii and DS. But I have had a few connection issues with the Netgear. Overall, I feel it is slightly better then the Belkin. But it is excellent for our consoles. It is worth the $20.
