want a good cheap vacuum

Any deals on any vacuums? I need one real bad as the one I've got has the bag in it and the bag starts to smell like shit.. making your floor smell like shit every time you vacuum :[.. help me out! I have carpet, so a tough one that'll suck everything up.

The Eureka Optima or Uno is pretty sweet. You can usually find it at Walmart or at Costco and it'll come with an extra filter and stuff. It's cheap, small, and pretty powerful. I like it better than my mom's crazy $400 vacuum from Germany.

I really should know less about vacuums.

Try the Hoover Fusion at Walmart for about $99. It is a Dyson clone and seems to work great.

try bleaching the brush on yer old one. at least it may get u thru til u can afford one. We recently bought a kenmore from sears, bagless, retractable cord (which was the selling point....especially if u know my wife). think we paid $100 for it

Walmart and stores like that will have eureka's for about $60. My mom buys them and used them commercially. They last about a year of rough commercial use. So they should do you just fine for 5 years or so.
