This is my first time making a thread, so apologies if this is old or I'm missing some sort of unwritten protocol. :razz:

At Staples B&M locations, a 1GB Sandisk Memory Stick Pro Duo will be $19.98 this week for Presidents Day. Use this Sandisk Rewards Coupon (http://www.staples.com/sbd/cre/programs/rewards/consumer/coupons.html) to take $10 off, making it $9.98 plus tax. Apparently, people are saying that it requires a manager's override unless you're buying other stuff with it, so this may be YMMV, but most people are having no problems getting it done. I'm picking one up for my new PSP, so figured I should notify anyone else who's looking for a deal on these.

B&M = brick and mortar, aka you have to go to the actual store to get the deal.

picked up a 1gig mem stick duo today for 9.98+tax

the other good news is you can get a 1gig sd, usb flash or cf card for $5.00

Thank you so very much for the info and coupon linkage! I was just telling my nephew about the 2GB Memory Stick that is supposed to be on sale at BB next week (courtesy of Speedy's wonderful weekly ad posts) but with this being so much cheaper he can get at least 1 this week (if not more)

I can also finally get a USB Flash drive while it is quite cheap. I never really cared about buying those before but at $5 I am totally in.. I could use one for school anyway so it will be nifty.

Random question.. Staples related (as it is also on sale) but does anyone know anything about the Netgear Wireless-G 54Mbps Router that is on sale at Staples and also at CC for $20? Basically wondering if it would be good to use for gaming as well as regular internet usage.. What else would I need? A wireless card for my PC? Anyone know of any way to connect the modem to the comp and then the comp to the router so I can save a few bucks at least that way??

Glad to help everyone one! I snagged two for myself; the coupon worked with no qualms, but I did it on two separate occasions (there's one right by my office.) Now I'm having fun screwing around with ripping my TV shows on DVD to my PSP.

Lunker - THANK YOU! I got myself a USB Flash Drive last night. Probably heading to another Staples to get either an SD card or a Memory Stick tomorrow. I plan on bringing my old ink cartridges back to get more money off too assuming they allow that.. but it seems like it is just store credit to but whatever and not only for use to buy a new ink cartridge. If that works then it would be either a Mem Stick for a whole $4 (I have 2 old ink carts) or an SD card for $2 assuming that the store credit is for that specific day and not just on a regular old card.. I have never done the ink cartridge deal before if it isn't obvious.

bobthecat - Thanks for the router info/opinion. I also heard on another forum that pretty much no one there would recommend Netgear or SMC(??) over Linksys. I decided to wait on getting a router. I don't really have many games that would go online just yet either. A few for the DS and PS2...

Lol, i tried to tell a manager that my sister and I were buying them seperatly(i had 2 coupons and was buying 2) and he said "Oh, well, buy them together, "and wouldn't take both coupons.

So i bought one and came back 10 minutes later to get the other :)
