Strange, I was just looking at a 32' at pcmall for $500 and was thinking about it...do you know if this TV is decent?

Buy.com has a similar model with 70+ user reviews. The general consensus is that it's one of the best LCDs under the $700 price range. Good contrast ratio, too, for what you're buying.

Not many LCDs under $700 in this size range though.

LCD prices are indeed dropping, earlier this year there was a 32" Viewsonic LCD for $500. I might be jumping on one of these soon.

I disagree. I can easily find a dozen LCDs under $700 that measure 32 inches. I could probably even find plenty of 37-inch LCDs if I looked hard enough.

It's like you said: they're dropping in price. Old stock gets clearanced for newer models with better features.
