Also, one that will work on Windows and Linux as well. I don't really like Azureus because that was just a pain in the ass and a memory hog. Utorrent well, after it got sold I think its days are numbered.

I need this for Linux so I can set it up on my computer so I can get Linux for my friend.

the one I use, though I barely use torrents. would be ABC... Another Bittorrent Client.

The simplistic interface saves is. All other torrent programs have pissed the hell out of me, but ABC hits all the right buttons for me.

I used ABC back in the day, but it pissed me off because the damn thing was so buggy/glitchy and didn't work as well as Utorrent as I later found out. Really I just want a Utorrent clone to tell you the truth.

Well it's not for Linux, but there's nothing wrong with utorrent. If you don't believe me read the privacy policy. Or go to the forums and look at the threads spreading FUD about it.

The only real connection BitTorrent has to the RIAA is that they worked out a deal where BitTorrent would remove copyrighted material off their website search engine in exchange for.. well.. I don't know, probably something protocol related. But regardless, none of that has anything to do with utorrent.

I know that, but it's the paranoia and maybe it's finally time to move on. By the way, I knew you're name sounded familiar, but are you a member/the member, at the PG2/Phoenixlabs forums?
