Does FYE use SecondSpin's prices?

Is it true that that FYE stores use SecondSpin's prices as a guide for trade-in values? I have a ton of CDs that I want to get rid of, and I've looked at SecondSpin to find out the prices... and it turns out that I have several that are worth three bucks or more. So of course, I want to trade them in to possibly get myself a PS2.


I didn't know where else to ask this, so I'm sorry if this is yet another repeated question. >_>

And here's a related question - does anyone know if the trade-in value can be used towards video game purchases instead of CDs?

the credit goes towards almost anything FYE is selling in the store.
