Fuck yeah! Hopefully this game turns out good.
(This is the official God of War 2 package. On the back of the instruction manual you can see a teaser for God of War PSP and it says it is coming in 2007)

Well, this wasn't really surprising given the "Coming Soon" in that same font found on Ready at Dawn Studios' website a few weeks back. These are the guys who split off from Naughty Dog and have only done the excellent Daxter for the PSP so far so I sincerely doubt this is a port.

Yeah. This is most likely not a port. The static camera would work well for the PSP as well however, so I hope its in this game as well.
Rumor has it that more info will come out during GDC.

Anyone think Sony has the cojones to make GoWIII exclusively for PSP? So if you want to play "The end of the end" then you have to buy a PSP? That could be clever.

I would love to say Yes, but that would be marketing suicide. If they were to lower the system's price to $150 or even $129.99 then they could in order to make it a system seller, but at this point they would be shooting themselves in the foot ... then again they just may do it (seeing as "smart marketing decision making" is something that the Sony lacks).
It'd be sweet to see GOW on the PSP, let's hope this rumor holds true.

Perhaps it's one of the stories that they hinted to at the end of God of War. Like we find out that Kratos has a brother, or that Kratos goes against Zeus, or that modern man finds the last Titan and the city on its back.

As good as it is, I don't think GoW (God of War) has the ability to be system seller like GoW (Gears of War). So making God of War 3 a PSP-exclusive would not be a particularly good idea. What they need is for it to be part of the PS3 lineup. It might not sell systems all by itself, but it would go a long way toward making people feel better about their purchase.

I dont own a PS2 but this was one of the titles I was intrigued about. If it came out on PSP that would be sweet (provided that its a good translation).
